Game Day Preseason Game Cowboys vs Seahawks 2nd half thread

Just out of curiosity, was a penalty called on Seattle on the hit to Romo?

Romo was already into his slide when the defender came over the top of him. Was a penalty called?

Whomever the slot receivers are will get a lot of action this year with teams wanting to double up Dez and Williams on the outside.

I never realized that we had so many Doctors in Cowboyszone.

No penalty was called, all in all it was a clean play i thought

man, tough crowd. Romo is a tough SOB, i think a lot of you are giving up on him a little too son
Not questioning his toughness, but that wasnt a vicious one and it had him hurting. Giants are gonna blitz all day on Romo

Who is this poster blackspider214 or whatever. Over the top negativity. Wow.

Prescott 79% completion percentage with 1 TD

Wilson 81% with 1 TD

I think we can all agree that Wilson entered the game under more ideal conditions and was facing the easier defense.

Dak is checking down way too much. His downfield throws haven't been very accurate.

That's probably his weakness. Down the field throws. But one of those passes Williams botched. Another, to Beasley, the timing could have been off because of the penalty on Earl Thomas.

The woe is us crowd will whine about the defense, but make no mistake about it, there are only two teams in the nfc that can stop the Cowboys from going to the super bowl: Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers.

No matter who the QB is! I prefer the rookie!!

Many make it embarrassing to be a Cowboy fan lol. The overreaction to Romo "injury", the d sucks, the o sucks, the coaching sucks lol. If our d gives up 10 a half for 20 a game, I'll take it lol. Its a "dress rehearsal" game but still a preseason game with not everyone playing, no game planning, vanilla offense and defense with both teams. On the road vs a top nfc team with a rookie qb, 2 series from our rookie rb, missing starting wr. Its ok lol.

I'm not being pessimistic but I can't see Romo playing for another year.

Very good game. I think some forget Sea has one of the better DLs in the league as well as one of the best Ds. Also, we subbed earlier than they did.

I was a bit surprised by the amount of blitzing by both teams. I figured we'd do it some but might hold back a bit in the preseason. Sea had to blitz to get any pressure. I'm more surprised by the ability of Dak to handle the pressure overall esp the blitzes. He completed some with people in his face. That's a sign of a big league QB.

Yea, but I think the play calling has been a bit too conservative. Williams didnt do him any favors either.

If Williams makes a professional WR play there, Dak's statline goes from good to outstanding.

The play-calling is fine. Seattle is bringing a lot of pressure, so you have to account for that.

It wasn't vicious but it was awkward.....a lot of times a hit like that you end up losing your breath. It is also the type of action where compression fractures happen.
