Is it possible the team announces the divorce proceedings have begun with this guy?

I did not want him here. Then he had a hand full of games that made me think I was wrong.

Then he started acting up again.

I was not wrong. Jettison this space crap and onward to the next multiverse. (I saw Dr. Strange last night)

Pretty awesome movie, wasn't it? I saw it yesterday too.

Do we even have to? IIRC the hold up to cutting him to begin with had salary cap implications. Do those still apply? And, if they do, can't we just let this whole thing fade into the off-season and cut him then?

Any insight
@bkight13 ?
It still isn't official so I don't know if it would change anything yet.......the were trying to recover his whole 750k signing bonus, which is peanuts if you ask me.........it should have already been lost due to not ever reporting to TC while under contract

i would just cut him

Hopefully we at the point where we don't even consider signing guys like him anymore. Let other teams waste time and money on reclamation projects.

He's done. Just hope Jaylon Smith fully recovers from his knee injury.

Cowboys LB Rolando McClain suspended another year

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain is being suspended for another year, on top of the 10-game suspension he's currently serving that is scheduled to end Monday, and there are doubts he will get to play again in the NFL after recently missing another drug test, NFL sources told ESPN.

McClain is likely to appeal the latest suspension, according to sources.

Players suspended for a year or longer do not have a high success rate of returning. McClain will be out until at least November 2017 before he's eligible to apply for reinstatement.

McClain was serving a 10-game suspension for testing positive for opiates. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones already has said McClain would not be back with the team when his suspension was scheduled to end Monday.

Will not be returning to team.

Nature and the NFL drug tests have a way of culling the herd.
RO is a loser of immense proportions.

Jerry actually wants him back when he's eligible

Unbelievable! After hearing of McClain's latest episode, I had thought for sure that Jerry would have been finished with the guy. It's hard to fathom how Jerry can be so incredibly incapable of seeing the forest for the trees. I'm a bit unsure as to which of those two is the biggest dummy. Neither one learns from his mistakes. -- SMH

An opiate addiction is perhaps one of the hardest things in life to break once it has a hold of you. not everyone can do it. I hope for his sake he is able to get control of it and goes on to lead a productive life regardless of what that is.
