Cowboys halftime show was horrible

Man...that halftime show was horrible. Is that the only artist we can afford? I don't even know who he is.

half-time shows almost always suck. I'm sure they could have booked a bigger name, but really, even the bigger name acts suck these days (grumpy old man opinion).

Didn't think much of that either. But when was the last time any of those half-time shows were any good?

I imagine it's just hard to pull off...scrambling to get the staging together in 5 minutes, bolting onto the stage... acoustics are bad...etc.

See back in the day there were lines drawn between each genre of music, whether it be rock, country, R&B or what have you, currently there are no lines and each genre has been dumbed down to the lowest common denominator{for the most part}. What you saw yesterday was a pale imitation of that music used to be.

music is not dumbed down to the lcd. the nashville country artists are a joke from top to bottom.

Plenty of great bands and musicians out there.

It was a bad day for music. Compared to Andy Grammer, Eric Church and Aretha Franklin's butchering of the national anthem, Dez and Norman's chirping sounded like songbirds.

Metallica is about as safe as anything else. The nfl would have metallica on in a heartbeat. They have played at pregame shows for the raiders.
