Thanksgiving halftime shows are usually bad because people are there for the game. They usually hire cheap local talent who are looking for exposure and to be able to perform in front of the Nation on Thanksgiving gives them plenty of that which could lead to more gigs. One of the worse I can remember I believe was last Thanksgiving in Detroit featuring a local rapper....DEADFUL!

It was brutal, granted Im not a country fan. I think a concert on thanksgiving is stupid, people want football not a concert.

Except Eric Church isn't cheap local talent......he's actually probably top 10 in the country music world......he's not my style but it doesn't change anything
