I wouldn't care if they didn't do the Thursday Night games anymore. I don't usually watch them anyway.

This is just one of many things they need to pull the plug on.

1. No more Thursday games except for the season opener and Thanksgiving. Dallas and Detroit only.

2. No more games in Mexico, England, Japan, Kazakhstan, or wherever else Goodell is drooling over.

3. No more Color Rush, ridiculous throwback uniforms that nobody recognizes, pink in October, camouflage in November, etc. Just a home and away uniform. People want to know who's playing the instant they turn on the game. (This is really hurting the college game.)

4. No more after-kickoff commercials.

5. Clean up the screen. I don't need to know that the Vikings backup running back had 3 carries for 9 yards. We have smart phones now for that nonsense.
I agree with everyone of these. I nominate you to be the new commissioner.

Agree with all five points and especially #3. I cannot stand those hideous throwback uniforms. The only thing worse than those is the pink worn in October. I know the NFL has toned the pink down a lot but I don't want to see it at all. A pink ribbon on the jerseys will due if they must. These pink shoes, gloves, and towels are absolutely ridiculous.

Honestly I am not sure what they don't get. People have jobs. Stop putting late games on work nights. Make it Friday Night and I bet viewers double. I know the Highschool football teams play on friday nights but that is a small percentage of viewers I bet and people will dvr the games anyway.

LOL but so many people used to argue how the Cowboys had an advantage on Thursday's games because they were the home team. I had a feeling a lot of players and teams in general would not like the extra work and less time to prepare for a short week.

Has anyone else noticed since the league added games to Thursday, there has been a extreme drop off of whining from fans and the media how it is so unfair for Dallas to have a home game every Thanksgiving? I certainly have. Hopefully most of them realize now just now taxing it is on the team whether they are home or away.

It seems like there is always awful matchups.

Nobody wants to watch the Jets, Bills, Bengals, and all those crappy teams they try to showcase.

The problem with Thursday night football is the same as Monday night football; when it started, fans were all for it, but now......not really.
They have to schedule the games long before they know if either team is worth a damn or if there will be any drama. So what do you get? Monday and Thursday night games that are all intriguing in September, but as the season drags on, very few folks care anymore because you're just as likely to get Browns vs. Bears or Jags vs. 49ers as you are to get Patriots vs. Raiders. I don't even watch half the Thursday/Monday games. They should either dump Thursday games or make them all rivalry games, where you at least have that going.

I wonder how Thursday Night Football would do if it were on a regular network. The problem may not be over saturation or the day of the week.

Not a fan of the Thursday night games, except for Thanksgiving. The quick turn around time has a negative effect on the players and has diminished the product. Now that all teams are featured on Thursday night, some of the matchups have been real stinkers, Like Dandy Don Meredith used to say "turn out the lights the party's over".

If they want to save it, they did a good job dialing up Jerry Jones. Bet people tune in this Thursday.
