SAS says some players and Staff, told him they want Romo?

If they are gonna bottle their QB behind the line of scrimmage and restrict him to passing and handoffs, they may as well put Romo back in as the starter.

I don't want to be a dick but when did sas become so important to everyone here?
I'm with you. I don't care what he says, thinks or knows. All he does on his show is make fun of Jerry Jones and he hates Cowboys fans. He does that while cheering for his 6 or 7 favorite teams

I don't like SAS at all but his Cowboy talk over the years is usually on point regarding issues. I agree with him here that the more Jerry talks, the more it undermines everything being worked for. People will deny it but it gets into players heads.

On a side note this debate cracks me up because we are arguing that a guy with 2 playoff wins is this savior that needs insertion for a SB chance. Love Tony and have been a defender here for years but come on...

I'm for Dak remaining as starter. But I believe Stephen A. You guys think that because he "hates" the Cowboys no one would talk to him. That's not how it works. Many players LOVE to talk, as long as you promise them anonymity. And Stephen A. is a national figure as well as someone players consider as knowledgeable and "cool". I don't doubt he has sources in the locker room.

hard to be proven wrong when you say it's from unnamed sources. even if it goes differently his "source" (aka guess) is wrong, not him.

Guys who lie about their sources don't survive in journalism. Just saying.

To sum up the video ..

Q: Why can't Jerry Jones stop talking about Romo?
A: Because the media keeps asking him about Romo and he answers.

If you figure this late in your career that chances are you'll never go to a super bowl, then you fully care about your personal body of work.
The guy's already a HOF'er. Who care's about personal stats. This isn't baseball. If it wasn't for this board I wouldn't have even known about it.

Yeah I'm sure he has such a relationship with Cowboys players and staff. I could see that. LOL

If dan marino wasnt throwing for 4k yards and a bunch of personal stats...no one would ever know he existed.

So it does matter.

Not really. You ask anyone outside of Cowboy fans that Jason Witten's record was ended and most wouldn't know. Dan Marino played at a time when RB's dominated the NFL so of course he will stand out. Same with Dan Fouts. Records are nice but nobody really remembers most of them in football. What people remember are players that played on championship teams.
