Dang shame the guy cant stay healthy. He could probably start for 1/3 of the teams today at LT. Definitely good enough to be our starting RT. But you cant count on him. His health or lack there of will relegate him to being a backup.

if Lawrence back is bad then that's another wasted second round pick and will hurt this team this week.

Quite believable. Go check Green's history of injuries in college.

This was always a 'roll the dice' pick.

Not so much as that he went on IR it's the timing. We lost a promising young RB cause of the stupid timing of all of this

I said 2 days ago that I did not expect green to ever be a regular starter for us because of the injuries, hate to say it looks like I was right.

Looks like we just might end up having to pay Leary a deal so we don't have to spend a high draft pick on an OLnext year. Sign Leary, move Zack to right tackle and put Collins in at Right Guard. Draft a T in mid rounds to groom for swing.

Matt Johnson of the Offensive line?

Man, he looked decent/good filling in for Smith, but dang, can't catch a break on the injury front.

Wasn't the same sad about Martin in regards to Collins? Played tackle in college but would be better suited at guard in the NFL?

I hope they bring Tapper up. The pass rush can use all the help it can get and I'd like to see him play this year.

Ahh As I predicted. They are bringing in a monstrous player from parts unknown.

But yea, a herniated disk is real serious. Ive had one for 16 years c3-c4. I wouldnt suggest a player especially a lineman play anymore after having a disk fusion with screws and plates though. I never had mine operated on and it does flare up at time still. Lumbra disk have to support more weight than cervical disk I think.

Ahh, good ole parts unknown.
A term I haven't heard since the glory days of Mid South Wrestling.

Yup. Martin is not the prototype NFL tackle. He might be an average tackle but why move him from a position where he is above average?

Fans will have to get used to the idea that Doug Free will be the incumbent RT going into the 2017 barring injury. Dallas will have to draft a tackle this April who could eventually beat him out.

As for Leary, I see no way he is re-sgned as long as Collins is on the roster.
