Not excited about tonight

We waited a torturous entire offseason for these 16 games I'm savoring every minute

Besides that it's a good chance to throw out some new plays and formations to give defenses something to think about in the playoffs

So much this, brother! I, too, savor every minute of our Boys' seasons. Especially this one (2016 season), Noshame! :)

I get overly excited for these games!!!

The Skins will still have to beat the Giants next week to get in, so it's not all on this game tonight.

From what I've read on the Giants boards Mca doo doo is probably resting his starters.

I was hoping Norman would hey into OBJ's head and possibly get him suspended for their playoff game.

Can Elliott get on his way to breaking Dickerson's record?
How will Gregory play? Does it look like he can really help in the playoffs?
Can Irving keep his momentum going and become a force?
Can M Collins continue to get better and better at DT?
Can Damien Wilson continue his growth and play well with Durant out?
Will JJ Wilcox keep playing well and keep opposing WR's hearing footsteps?
How will Dak play as he continues to gain experience?

Plenty for me to be excited about.

I'm not as into the "we must go balls to the wall to stay sharp" stuff.

These guys are professionals and having the 1 seed locked up this early gives us the luxury of playing smart. If anyone has any nagging injuries, either sit them or let them get minimal work in.

We control the LOS on the offensive side of the ball and pound the rock. That's what we are going to do in the playoffs as well. With that said, I do think the coaching staff should already be planning for the playoffs and maybe try and come up with some new wrinkles.

Either way, it's a great situation to be in, let's all enjoy it.

This. All of this!

Disagree. Red is trying to establish a new culture with Dak and Zeke leading the way. We do not want them thinking games don't matter.

I hear what you are saying but I think that those guys understand the situation and are mature enough, even at this age, to put thinks into perspective and stay focused, either way.

And all without the stress of having to win. I'm starting to get excited for this game.

I just think off season when we are dying for some morsel of info to talk about.
Or the start of training camp when the first pre-season game is coming up and we're
all exciting. This is actual real season Dallas Cowboys football

Not me I'm all in.

I feel you.... I guess there's an "edge" a natural "nervousness" that sets in at kickoff that's missing. The thing that has you on edge and pacing all game. Not a bad thing.. I guess different is the right word. Hell it's been a looooong time since we've been in this place in '07...

Broaddus is projecting up to 24 carries for Zeke:

Detroit is 17th against the run.

I personally always enjoy a Cowboys game.

And comparing this to a preseason game? I don't see it. Rosters are at 53 and the other team will be very motivated to win.

I need no help getting it up for a 12 win team against a possible playoff opponent on a Monday night.

It's going to be a test that we will see what this Cowboy team is all about...I'll be watching.

I don't care about the result really.

I just want 3 things.

1. No injuries.

2. Zeke to have a shot at Dickerson record next week.

3. Gregory and Irving to look like beasts off the edge.

I do wonder if Dak is going to play a little looser and let it rip downfield more. He has been feasting on passes from 11-20 yards.

I really want to see the Cowboys win these past two games and go 14-2 for the first time ever. But I don't want that to happen at the expense of having some starters hurt in a game that lacks any tangible meaning (for the Cowboys).

At least there will be no pressure to win; so it will be like a preseason game in that regard.

It will tell us fans something about the team. The top of the mountain is still a long ways away.
