Am I the only one that is not really into the game tonight? For me, this is going to be like a preseason game. Is there anything to play for besides trying to keep momentum going into the playoffs?

I understand that the team has to continue the winning ways that they are on, but, really...what is left to be done? For me, it would be exciting to see the backups play, otherwise, for me this is just another meaningless game. Help me understand why the game would help the Cowboys on their way to the playoffs.

The WHOLE reason for competitive sports is to WIN! It's not meaningless to the player that can't crack into the starting lineup. Its not meaningless to the long suffering fans starving for a winner so that they can beat their chests and brag about their TEAM. There is no substitute for winning. Winning is the name of the game. The history books are written by the winners.

Yes, business as usual. When you don't bring the heat because you have "nothing to play for" that's when injuries occur. We haven't earned the right to rest players (i.e. like say, New England or Pittsburgh). Red should keep them on their normal routines. The only players that should rest somewhat are those who are already playing hurt (i.e. T Smith).

Even more, we might see Detroit again during these playoffs. Why not punch them in the mouth early and often? This will send them and the entire NFL a message that they can't win in Dallas. We gotta finish the fight.
I like the way you think.

It will tell us fans something about the team. The top of the mountain is still a long ways away.

It is. But the Cowboys are two playoff wins away from going to the Super Bowl. I'm just going to let that sink in for a while.

The Cowboys have to stay sharp. But ask the Oakland Raiders if it was worth having Derek Carr playing in the 4th quarter with a 33-14 lead on Saturday.

I think the starters finish tonight's game, and maybe get the 4th quarter off next week in Philly.

That sucked for the Raiders...ouch! They were doing good before that injury...

For me, I want to see how Red has this team motivated to play this game. Not a fan of the clappin butt slapper, but he can go a long ways with me if he can have this team playing at a high level tonight.

I hear you, dog head...bro! For some reason, this team has some puppys learning the game
