Players Dallas Has Shown Interest In - 2017

New to the site... never been much of a college watcher, so I really can't comment on what's out there and specifically who to get. What I do know and from what I've seen all this year...we need a pass rush and that's what they should focus on. As I was watching the games, I was thinking, damn we really need help in the secondary. Re-thinking that now, they probably wouldn't have had that many troubles back there if the QB hadn't had all day to throw the ball. So, do you guys see the boys focusing on improving the pass rush?

The belief is Evans could land in the late part of round one and I've heard his name linked with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys presently have four defensive backs up for free agency including two safety’s, starter Barry Church and JJ Wilcox.

This kid jumps off the tape. He's a better player than (2016 first-round pick) Karl Joseph. He's a ferocious hitter and he can cover a lot of ground. He will be a top-20 pick this spring," the executive told Jeremiah.

If you dont believe in the pass rushers that are there, feel free to upgrade the secondary.

I really hope we draft a DE in the first, imo a guy like Harris will be there at 28.use FA to shore up the secondary or draft one in the 2nd and 3rd RD.

I will eat my hat if Evans is a top 20 player in this draft.

He's not even in my top three safeties.

Most drafts only have three in the top 100. He is far far down on the list after Hooker, Adams, Peppers and Baker.

He reminds me a bit of the Steelers Harrison; short, thick and versatile.

He's a much better Kyle Wilbur.
I love the comparison. He's also a bit of a psycho like Harrison. He truly hates the guy he's playing against. That's old school right there. Super quick first step. Definitely a situational pass rusher, due to his size.

Eh...I think he's pretty underrated. And that's probably because there are just so many pass rushers in this draft. In most years, I think Anderson would be a lock first round pick.

Not w/ 31 inch arms....Not happening.

Justin Evans remind me of Wilcox in that he's supposes to be a big hitter but he misses a lot of tackles bc of diving at ankles, bad angles and poor wrap up technique. I was very disappointed with that part of his game. Didnt look fast to me either.

Like Evans, just not in the first.

10-yard time:
Marcus Golden: 1.68

DeMarcus Ware: 1.70
Bosa was at a 4.86 last year, but had a 1.69 split. He also ranked in the 94th percentile among DEs in the three-cone and did very good in the short shuttle as well. That 4.86 should be what we looked at though.
