brady has limited window
if i were belicheat, i would be loading up to set the record for # superbowls.
nothing else for them to gun for.

by the time brady and belicheat are done they will have set superbowl records and playoff record that will never be touched

Makes sense. Curious to see what Belichick and friends do with Garoppolo.
They know how to be mysterious. Nobody knows what they are going to do.

Now us? Transparent as can be, even though we have a marketable QB also.

So how come we're in the worst shape in the league in cap space?

The Pats are the gold standard for a well organized team. They win and they keep their powder dry.
Their ahead of us in this regard but we are advancing there is no doubt in that regards

It is because we have a great GM and HC and have been perennial SB participants for the last 20 years

A screwed up cap is a small price to pay

Would you rather be NE that has a lot of cap space but no playoff or SB appearances ?

the pats pick and choose which free agent they want not who they can get the have there choice they are totally different than any other team in the nfl

Our GM.

lot of interesting question with the Patriots. What will they do with Gronk and Floyd?
They are not doing anything with Gronkowski. Now I think they wait it out on Floyd since he is going to be locked up for a bit.

All the women, I mean free agents chase them.

that is what having stability at QB with the most dominant QB for 20 years allows you to do.
furthermore the QB gives the team team-friendly deals because he wants to be the greatest ever.
hope dak stays healthy for 20 years and you will see similar levels of cap flexibility as time moves on - even after his rookie deal.

they get to be the gold standard because they had brady for 20 years.
that allowed them to have a lot of cap advantages and drafting advantages other do not.

Well, not quite but it sure seems like it.

It also helps that Brady doesn't need the money because he has a super hot model wife that earns billions.

well and the marginal utility difference between $120 million and $100 million is not significant.

the head coach makes all the difference in the world their brady is huge but the head man is the one that is the magic
Better hide before the crowd yelling "Belichick is nothing without Brady" starts in on you.
