What is New England plotting with their 60M of cap space?

He will still be winning if he doesn't have Brady. Has done it before. I just don't think he will keep going without him.

he would be a winner but it would be less fun being less dominant.
that is the reason i think they would be garapolo is because he does not want to leave the cupboards bare.

around here every one is hyped up because we have won one wildcard playoff game and been 12 and 4 and 13 and 3 and one and done in the playoffs whenwhile tom and bill win another superbowl trophy they take back to new england

Belichick has won jack without Brady. It's just a simple fact. He's a failed fired head coach in Cleveland without him.

I think it's also a fact that when Brady retires, little Bill will decide he's had enough.

Sickening. They have more draft picks than we do too. Even after forfeiting one for deflategate.

He may be referring to when Cassel had a little success when Brady was out and then this year.

Well if that's the low bar set that 11-5 and failing to get into the playoffs is winning then Jason Garrett must be a big time winner. 13 wins, 1 seed, rookie QB. Yet I read from the same person in another thread how the Cowboys aren't a desired FA destination because they don't win.

Belichick has done nothing as a head coach without the greatest QB to ever play. I don't know why people take offense to that but it's true.

that is what happens when you have stability at QB with a dominant QB that even gives the team team-friendly contracts.

You mean having a cap hit for a QB that isn't even going to play for you that is the largest in the league isn't effective strategy?

When you elite QB has a base salary of 1 milliom in 2017 you habe mastered salary cap management. On top of that they've found great players for scheme fits who have replaced superior players for less money.

i was talking about brady.
if you are talking romo, he was the best we had.
luck has a lot to do with it.
now that we lucked into dak
stability at QB means savings in cap and in draft picks.
less draft picks at QB means you can devote those in other positions, reducing need for expensive FA contracts.
and allows you to pick BPA and get bargains.
we should see the cap moving in our advantage.

It is a QB HC duo that makes them so dominant and when the QB is the best to ever play the game you don't have to have talent everywhere else. I would think they will make some future cap friendly deals and remember they like vets
