I wouldn't do anything else at WR until the draft. Reason is anything more would likely cancel our comp pick were going to get for Williams.

It doesn't count in the formula from what I understand because he is one of our own.

He's the quintessential tease - great play followed by a mind numbingly bad one. WR still needs to be addressed with a better option.

I am still mystified they made him such a big part of the gameplan in the playoffs against Green Bay.

And of course, he came up incredibly small.

I like this signing; whether he starts or not, he's a great backup for Dez, and that's the position where he found his success. I don't judge any of our guys by their production when they are the 3rd or 4th option on every play when on the field. Butler is ready to contribute more, I think, and this doesn't stop us from looking for a speedy, big play guy in the draft.

He truly saved his worst for last.

But when they are the 3rd or 4th option, they better convert whatever opportunities they get.

Butler doesn't do that.

good retention. At least we're not bleeding at that position right now.

“I still don’t know where my hands were. Dude, I was surprised when I fell and I didn’t have that ball. I felt like I was looking it in. I guess I didn’t stick my arms out long enough.”

I wonder if he found his hands to grab the pen and sign the contract.

Dude is terrible with the ball in the air, and he has no sense of where he is in space.

But he's fast.
