Commanders Cosidering Mike Mayock as New GM

Actually that would not be a bad hiring considering.

But why would Mayock want to walk into that situation?

If Mayock does this it will be a long walk off a short pier. Anything to do with Washington is a career killer.

"Trent Richardson is the best running back prospect since Adrian Peterson"

Yes, because he's the only one who missed that one. Or has made a mistake in drafting.

Remember, our GM/owner wanted to take a drunk party boy who was 5-11 as the Cowboys QB of the future. Luckily, his son rolled a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue down the hall and Jerry chased it like a dog after a bone.

Must be some good money coming his way. Little stress+free time as a NFLN talking guy or going to a tire fire organization?

Crazy. But if you're Mayock, how can you not jump at this chance?

Actually, Dane Brugler is the one I thought would make the jump into scouting, but obviously not at the GM level. I've been waiting to hear that one happened.

Mayock was quoted as "knowing nothing about thith" he's "foucuthed on the draft in hith home town of philthy."

I don't know how that guy hasn't got a job with a team yet.

So their solution to having a vacant GM position is to simply pay millions to exclusive right to Moyock's draft list? Good luck with that. They are really getting to the point where no legitimate NFL person wants to go there.
