Mayock is denying having any talks with them or interviews as of now.

Im not about to mock a team for trying to do better. Look at us, we looked at FA, and watched it go by. Hopefully we ll be sticking to the RKG mantra, thats been paying off. Ive also been enjoying the "hey, we drafted this guy so lets get rid of him," experiment and the always impressive move that got to the NFCCG this year "heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeres DUNBAR"!!!! While watching our FO take a victory dance about something called the secret sauce.

Yea, lets look at our warts and mock the Skins. Who wants to go laugh at the Patriots with me, come on it ll be a hoot.

Yes, because he's the only one who missed that one. Or has made a mistake in drafting.

Remember, our GM/owner wanted to take a drunk party boy who was 5-11 as the Cowboys QB of the future. Luckily, his son rolled a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue down the hall and Jerry chased it like a dog after a bone.

That's a funny mental image.

Hilarious if true.

It really isn't. He's the best in the business. Revered amongst a bunch of schlepps who wish they were as good as him. Commander fans are praying for this. Visit their boards.

I hope he declines, and I'm encouraged by @BrAinPaiNt's post above. Mayock is legit, and not a Jeremiah/Kiper. Unless he's assessing QBs. Lol

I like Mayock a lot, but I would only want him to stay with the NFLN because he's good at that and I wouldn't wish the dumpster fire that is the Washington Commanders on anybody.

However, there's no GM that I'm afraid of. Find a good/great coach and that's when I'll be worried.

This team do not have any money. And right now FA scraps and draft picks is all they got to choose from. If anything they need to work on getting picks in return from Romo.

Actually that would not be a bad hiring considering.

But why would Mayock want to walk into that situation?

No. He has a life-time gig with NFL Network. He gives that up and someone swoops in, takes his position, and he likely doesn't get it back upon retirement.

You see how long Mel Kiper has lasted with ESPN? He had an opportunity to work for the Browns and turned it down.

Some jobs you just don't give up. He's in one of those 'Work on the off-season, set for life" jobs.
