Nothing right now, Boxer... Have two cases of brew in the fridge, Pacifico and Bohemia, deciding which one to go after first. Hey, your LA Kings are playing some damn good hockey, Boxer :) :)

Morning everyone, sorry I missed yesterday. I was at a birthday party of one of my son's friends. At a skating rink. Sober. :D The things I do for this child :) jk!!

Pacifico and Bohemia, sounds like A Mexican food day. Carne Asada taquitos with cilantro, onions and lime go great with Mexican beer. Damn, now I'm hungry and I just had some menudo and barbacoa. Salud, Trouty have a great day mi amigo.

Same here, Melon. It just really isn't an option for me (bars). Too much trouble and chicken-hawking from insecure drunk dudes with their GFs. People can't handle their booze like us fine folks :)

I'll do a restaraunt and a movie with the little one on a Saturday evening, even a BWW, but bars with my buds died somewhere in my mid-late 20s

We used to hunt for them on hot days. They would be soaking up the sun and I would use about 20 pumps on my Crossman air rifle and aim for the head.
We would clean them and pan fry them in butter and they were not bad.
I still have a box with quite a few rattles in it.

Copy that! The bars went away in my life(for the most part anyway) once I got my D.L. reinstated and got that c.d.l. class A with all the endorsements,,, and riding Harley you gotta have your head/ arse wired if you plan on coming home

Have some battles in the trucking biz now, its no joke running from Louisiana to Canada in a 48 hour window.

About eight years ago, me and my staff went to a bar in College Station TX, I got carded at the door. I thought they were joking, when they saw my ID, the guy told me, sorry sir, you're too old to come in here. No one over forty allowed. I told him, Hey, my 16 year old daughter is in there, either I go in or I call the cops. They let me in and even comped me a drink. Lol, that's about the time I stopped going to clubs.

Biggest rattler I ever killed was about 6 foot long. I shot it, cut its head off with a machete and through it over my shoulder. Kept on hiking with my dad and my uncle. Stopped to rest about 15 minutes later, threw the snake down, I freaked out when the damn thing started slithering away. Lol, nerves were still firing. Didn't eat that one, but I have eaten rattler before. Damn, that was a long time ago, probably 35 years.

Im going hiking with my 8 year old son in Palo Duro Canyon next week. Its been cold, but is supposed to warm up to the 80s there.
I guess I should bring a snake kit and gun?

Sound wisdom ,better to have it and not need it than,, you know that tune,although what coach sez' is of infinite greater utility, you could whip out just a little field craft on your 8 y.o. son with the machete and leave an indelible impression,,:thumbup:
