While Tony Romo's NFL future remains in a state of limbo, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is now on the radar of CBS Sports if he decides to hang up his cleats.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, in addition to Fox Sports showing interest, CBS is "making a strong push" to bring Romo to its NFL coverage team.

Schefter previously reported Fox Sports was pursuing Romo as a replacement for John Lynch, who left the network to take over as general manager of the San Francisco 49ers, but Romo's goal is to continue his NFL career.

Dak Prescott emerged as the Cowboys' starting quarterback last season after Romo suffered a fractured vertebra in his back during a preseason game.

I'd be happy tony retire a cowboy and move on to broadcasting. Don't want to see him in another jersey. Unless we netted a first round pick

I dont think tony is that good of a talker to do that sort of work. I could be wrong, he might be ok at it.
but just watching pressers and interviews, he isnt all that good.
But hey if they offer and he wants to try it, go for it. it would be easy money.

I too think tony wants to play another season at least.

he is fine, hell if Deion could do it, so can Tony

Granted, if he did that, the press and haters would say it was because no one else wanted him

He'll have a TV job waiting for him whenever he leaves. Remember, he's a Cowboy - an instant ratings bonanza, especially if he's good.

If I were him, and I didn't want to fully retire, I'd be all over one of these TV deals.

Don't do it Romo. The team is winning it's 6th SB next season and you'll miss out.
