I think Romo has both the knowledge and the appealing type of personality to do well as an NFL football broadcaster. I'd much prefer to see him doing that rather than taking a risk of being relegated to physical limitations for the remainder of his life. In any event, I'm wishing him nothing but good fortune, whatever his future might hold in store. He's deserving of that.

Just saying, you live life to the fullest and leave no regrets. If he leaves with how the last 2 years have gone....he will have regrets of "what if"...he's going to play.

I know he wants to play but I think for his family and his own best interest he should retire and go into broadcasting. It only takes one good hit to change his quality of life for the rest of his life.

Same can be said for any player in the NFL. Who was that kick cover guy that Heath ended his career with one hit? I like watching Romo play. I want to keep watching him play, I would prefer it be in Dallas but since they robbed him of that, then I will watch him with another team. These gigs will be here when he does step away, no need to take one right now. Play ball until you can't play at a high level anymore. Not everyone gets to live their dream, no way I would give that up until I absolutely had to.

I dont think tony is that good of a talker to do that sort of work. I could be wrong, he might be ok at it.
but just watching pressers and interviews, he isnt all that good.
But hey if they offer and he wants to try it, go for it. it would be easy money.

I too think tony wants to play another season at least.
either you have a poor sense of humor or you haven't seen enough Tony interviews to make a post like that.

he is fine, hell if Deion could do it, so can Tony

Granted, if he did that, the press and haters would say it was because no one else wanted him
Well deion and many of these ex players are not very good, most have a ring though, so they give them jobs.
I dont really care to listen to most of them.
Shannon sharp was great player, but I cant listen to him more than 10 seconds.

Some people would rather we get a 5th rounder and risk injury. He's got all all the money in the world. A beautiful family and a body that falling apart. It's a no brainer to me. Actually He should of retired after the Seattle hit.

Agreed. He's MUCH better when it isn't in the middle of the NFL season. Think he's going to impress more then people realize. There's a reason all the networks all want him, besides just that he's a Cowboy

If he doesn't go to the broncos or Texans I'd rather see him do this. No other team is a sb contender with him.

I could see him with that guy Lynch has been with, he's pretty decent. Thom Brennaman is probably my favorite of the lot, wouldn't mind seeing him paired with him.
Tony's been paying more in taxes than what he would make at fox, but hey, it seems mostly part time work

how many draft picks are they willing to give up?
That and what is the cap hit if he signs with CBS or Fox. He could get injured in the booth. We need Adam to help us with the cap ramifications.

I'd rather see him retire than anything. Dallas would retain his rights. If something happened to Dak, you know he would come back. If a contender's QB goes down before the trade deadline, his rights could still be traded if he agreed to come back.
