From BTB:

"Bell is still relatively young in the NFL game as he’s only 28 years old. He’s also a very big lineman, standing 6’ 5” and weighing 340 pounds. His starting experience, his age and his flexibility to play guard or tackle make him an intriguing prosepect."

Good. Gives us at least another option to consider in our hunt for a right tackle and depth.

Seems like the FO is signing a lot of guys to 1 year deals. That just puts us right back in the same depleted situation a year from now. I do like the add though.

Shouldn't affect the comp picks at least and you get a player who, if healthy, can give Chazzy Boy some competition and make the need to draft a RT a little less concerning.

but it does give them another year to draft cheap and better replacements instead of trying to nail down 5 needs this year.
assuming they address DL and DBs this year, they could address RT, WR and TE next year.
of course, they probably still need to go DL next year...

Seems that Titans fans liked him more at guard than at tackle.

How is bell the lowest lineman. he is nothing special, but he was not the issue for a majority of the year. he did well at LG, not so at RT… but no one did.

Actually, Bell did ok at LG… he wasn’t special, but he wasn’t the problem against teams like the Browns. How you rate Poutassi above him is beyond me… especially when you say being a rookie doesn’t give bias. At LG, Bell was a mauler as I saw it… and arguably the best run blocker we had early in the season and before we moved him over to RT.

Was in the running for a starting position (probably left guard) or would have been the 6th lineman. OL depth takes a big hit. Sucks.

He's actually a fairly decent guard, despite being one of the worst OTs I've ever seen.
