It would be quite entertaining if everyone that is wishing him well right now gets their world rocked by a Romo swerve and signing with another team.
I just cant see Romo doing that. I have been fooled before however

or

Jerry and Romo worked it out and Romo agreed to go into broadcasting. That way, Jerry didn't have to look like he was going to let Romo walk and pay him his full salary this year. It's either one or the other.

:)

That would be awesome if he played Jerry like that and got his release and goes and signs another contract with a team. I would laugh by tail off!! I hope he does it.

Tony saw how Jerry treats people and players. T.O. ring a bell??? I can't even imagine the backstabbing/bad mouthing that goes on behind closed doors.

Wouldn't the better option for the team would have been to let him retire rather than release him?

What the hell does this mean? Right now he's just a free agent, right?
Yes.

Jones blinked. Could not even wait for the press conference with CBS announcing Romo's broadcast career.

Funny how he had all the time in the world, until training camp a few days ago. Now gets this done in less than eight hours.

Based on your philosophy, wouldn't it be more entertaining if that happened and ended his career on the first play of the season while at the same time screwing himself out of a broadcasting gig? I don't see it happening your way.

If Tony doesn't sign that CBS contract by tomorrow night, expect a turn or two :)
Just now heard on SIRIUS radio that Tony and CBS will hold a conference call-style press conference at 3 pm CDT today. If so, there's only one reason they would do that.

Oh get a grip, nobody is wishing for it to happen.

But if it did, you cannot tell me that would not be the juiciest heel turn ever.

I think YOU need to get a grip.
I am pretty sure there are a few here who would revel in it.
I am pretty sure you would have a hay day finding one way or another to blame it on Jerry to make yourself feel better about yourself.
So...you get a grip.

Wonder if the Texans or Denver still try to sign him?

You know darn good and well the Texans want him. They got caught with thier pants down and if they feel there is a chance they can avoid the Savage era beginning they will lol.

So if did happen you would say it is not his fault?
