Well, the picture is about to get really clear. Romo either just called Jerry's bluff by threatening retirement and forced Jerry's hand to release him.

or

Jerry and Romo worked it out and Romo agreed to go into broadcasting. That way, Jerry didn't have to look like he was going to let Romo walk and pay him his full salary this year. It's either one or the other.

Yep, people acting as if Dallas gets nothing but I don't think 14 mill is nothing. or the base salary he was due over the next 2 years (49.2 Mill) that is big money.

You know it's coming...I think it's all been a big fat ploy by the Romo camp to get free. Tired of hanging in limbo. Jerry's taking the bait like a sucker.

There is nothing stopping TR from un-retiring if Houston comes calling w/ a 20 million a year offer.
