Remember, last year after the Elliot pick how many people barfed all over our draft. Jaylon was a wasted pick, Collins was JAG, Tapper was an nonentity [OK I'll give them that - so far], Dak was a stupid project pick who wouldn't even be ready to play for 2-3 years, Brown sucked at CB at Purdue, Frazier and Jackson were camp bodies and Gathers was another project that would be a waste of time.

Did I miss anything?

I'm not blown away, but in McClay I trust.

Those same guys say this is one of the best drafts they have ever seen despite never seeing Tapper, Smith and Gathers yet. lol

If anyone thought this draft was gonna bring a 10 sack rookie or a shutdown corner were deluding themselves. McDowell or watt would have brought less chance for impact this year. If Taco can join the DL rotation and make a few plays a game it's a successful pick. The secondary will be addressed tomorrow and then it will be up to the coaching staff to put it together.

I remember the videos from Dlaw and how awesome people said he was and he turned out to be Meh. Thats being kind. They see something they like in Taco, hes tall, hes a big guy so he mgiht push around. yes he might not have the burst, but Rod can work with him. Not a horrible pick, PS remember S Floyd? yea. get over it. Decent pick by the Cowboys to not screw up their draft.
