The Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones And The War On The NFL's 'War On Drugs'

Just curious, do you feel the sheer number of deaths due to legal prescribed medicines, i.e. opiods, is worthy of attention?

Legal medications can cause overdose. Legal medications can combine with other substances that are legal to harm people.

So is it the deaths that bother you, which marijuana is far and away less impactful even if you assume what was quoted in the article is true, which is doubtful. Or are you hung up on the fact that it is "illegal" because of the potential harm?

Honestly, most people don't know why it was ruled illegal in the first place. And once they do a little research, they are a little surprised.

Opoid and benzo abuse is absolutely an epidemic that should be a top priority. It is devastating in so many ways.

You are the equivalent of Monty Python's Black Knight that denies the loss of each limb he loses. You've been proven wrong so just lay down and die. Pot Kills.
Man, I like both you guys,,, but this quote is an absolute screamer :lmao2::lmao::lmao2::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Do you even bother to read my entire post before you reply? Your responses are nonsensical and disconnected from any relevance to the discussion. Every winner in the history of winning has claimed victory. Your arms off but you... in your best black knight imitation, just ignore reality and insist on your own slaughter to continue.

Food kills, tobacco kills, and yes weed kills.

Characterization in place of argument. How droll.

And not every person in history has claimed victory particularly not when they have nothing real to back it up with.

Lol.

Off the subject a little but if you read up on the corn industry and how it impacted the cattle industry, it is absolutely incredible. Then when you consider how Monsanto basically took over what we eat, scary at the same time.

Fuzzy, I mix up some warm to the tummy bloody maries, and pina culadas with homemade vanilla ice cream while we watch film...

And then they somehow got involved with mandated ethanol mixing which is one of the dumbest ideas in recent memory (thank Iowa being a swing state).

I did not say every person in history has claimed victory, I said every winner in history has claimed victory. Can you name just one Lombardi trophy that it's winner didn't host up above their heads and claim victory? No, because it happens every year and you are wrong about it being a sure sign of a loser.

I've had quite a few stoner friends over the years and nearly every one of them smoked dope before going to work. Being high was 'normal' to them.

No doubt there's a group that can be best described that way.

But to classify all marijuana users as being "stoners" would inaccurate.

I've never used it, but I know several who'll do it once in a while... Doesn't make then "stoners".

Ranching, I bet that if you are on your ranch in South Texas, and the sun is going down...well, you don't mind pulling out some aged peach moonshine, or even watermelon wine for the evening...:)

I don't mind a quart of Don Padron in the door of the fridge...and a shaker of salt on the table.

For a convenient occasion...barbeques...Lone Star.

If the Ladies want to join a 'sipping occasion,' then water melon brandy pleases the crowd.
Anything cold.tastes great on the ranch or on Padre. North and South. Lol, salud CC.

And now you have completely changed the subject rather than address rebuttals.

There are more contests than the super bowl. I guess you have never heard of the term "hollow victory" or "pyrrhic victory." Further self proclaimed victors ring hollow.

The hollow victory is this one which you may have because I just don't care about the argument anymore. A Pyrrhic victory is one that came at such a steep price that it negated the value of the victory. Do you need know more? I'll be glad to school you further. :D

I haven't read the entire thread, but if marijuana is legalized would that include doing something about the odor? I don't know how others feel, but that is one foul smell to me. And you don't have to smoke it, just be near someone who does and you wreak just as bad as they do. Whether it's legal or not, I don't want to smell like that.

I have never considered weed as a "drug". Our maker, put food plants as well as other plants on this earth for our nourishment, enjoyment, and as far as cannibus is concerned medicinal use.

For marijuana to have the same classification as heroin and other hard drugs is just another example of how our lawmakers are un/mis informed on what they even vote on.
I can't think of too many drugs that don't come from plants. Heroine is derived from poppy plants. Most drugs originate in the ground somewhere in the world. The problem is refinement and additives that make them into something else. That applies to weed too.

You abandoned merit a long time ago. That is the epitome of a losing argument.

I have gotten about 40 or so likes and you have gotten pretty much none. The people have spoken.

I agree that most do come from plants and then it gets the human touch added to it which is where the potency comes in to play whereas with cannibus can be taken straight from the plant let dry and then used without altering anything.....meth, crack, etc are made from pretty harmful added ingredients...one thing is pretty certain, a pot smoker will outlive a methhead with all things being equal healthwise. And as you said it's the additives that is harmful.
