You should... You guys are about two more drought-filled years from turning into Las Vegas..... A couple of years ago, we got almost as much rain in our LA (Lower Alabama) in one day as you do in a year..... 12-13 inches.
:(

We keep taking Northern Cali's water, pissing them off up there.

Yeah, we need a couple more like this last season, for sure, Surfer. Some neighborhoods were banned from using their sprinklers for more than two days a week (not mine).

75 and breezy, here in Los Angeles. It's gonna start to heat up soon, tho, the summers here are brutal at times.

We did get a lot of rain this last rain season (18" in my city, which is great, sadly). Last year when everyone was proclaiming that El Niño was going to bring a lot of rain, it brought less. Lol, go figure.

That's the beauty of LA, you can live in certain locations where it never gets hot :)

There can be a 20 degree difference just a few miles away in all directions. Just stay near the coastline and it is perfect in the middle of Summer

Indeed, Dex :)

Not so much in my neck of the woods, but Marina Del Rey is only a 20 minute drive away if I leave at the right time.

Still, grew up going to the OC beaches, my favorite in SoCal (well, probably tied with the beaches south of your neck of the woods).

Seal Beach is amazing, too. My grandma lived in Los Alamitos, so we used to go to Seal Beach quite a bit. Gorgeous.

I frequented Seal, Newport and Huntington beaches often. Probably my favorites on down to Laguna. We have lived in Woodland Hills and it gets brutaly hot there, we moved SW as soon as we could

Sarge can speak for himself but When people in my area complain about no rain and their wells or gardens...I say...it can ran anywhere but in my general yard because I hate yard work and would rather it be a drought in my area.
That reminds me, my yard needs to be mowed but this rain is keeping me from getting it done. Yard work isn't going away even if it's rain delayed. I prefer that to not having yard work due to a lack of rain... that is literally god forsaken stuff. The only smell I like more than freshly cut grass is the smell of rain.

Agree, two of the best smells. I love rain, especially thunderstorms.......something I missed living in SoCal. But, I do not miss this Texas rain at all, it becomes a sauna day after day. Just have a good storm and get it over with, not this scattered stuff every day!

Rain is best smelt in the desert, imo. That aroma when it hits the creosote is out of this world.

I thought it would be a fun thread to see how the weather is around the globe. After all, Cowboys fans are not only located in Texas.:p

In fairness it was about 80 degrees just over a week ago and even yesterday was hot and sunny before turning into hail, thunder and lightning and torrential rain.

Oh my. Ya have a little bit of everything over that pond. I recall the days living in Germany when I was a child. Lots of rain and in the winter, lots of snow.

A Scotty BBQ :p

You're my hero gamie lol. It down poured this morning and I was caught in it a few times at work. Nothing like wishing to go home and change again after only being at work for an hour. I was literally drenched. It's humid here as well even though it's only going to the high 60's.

Absolutely gorgeous today. No humidity, bright sunshine etc... however, starting Monday, high 90's and humid.
