Oh, and I just noticed your sig pic. Awesome, man! That was one of my dad's favorite songs! He thought it was so clever with a groovy beat. That's good, right?? lol :)

nice nice your dad must have great taste in music

David Byrne is a music genius if you have the chance watch the movie : Stop Making Sense The Greatest Concert Film of All Time.( in my book lol)

Here's another great one by them. Man, I used to jam on this one. lol. I'm so glad it was in my suggested list. I had forgotten about it. But that's what is so good about this band. They have so many good ones, you can't remember them all, so it is always like a rediscovery. They were so awesome.

Yes you are right! My goodness, how time gets by. I had forgotten all about that. SMDH. Thanks, Fonz. I can't believe I forgot that. :(

You bet Kimi I like it a lot Now you talking my music

this thread not complete without Human League song

You are so right, Fonz! Me and my husband (Lane on here) still jam on them! As big of a hard rock fan as he was, he always loved The Human League. So I get to listen to them twice as much, when I play them and when he plays them too. ;)

This is another song I have always loved, and quite befitting of the occasion at the moment. I have to call it a night and go to bed. I love my R&B, though, and can't go to bed until I play a song from that era/genre. That is where my heart truly lives. More around that corner to come. ;) Anyway, my friends, especially you Fonz, I bid you a wonderful evening, well maybe early morning. lol. And we will meet up in here again. How bout them Cowboys! :)

Yes, thank you for this. I remember when Laura passed away from cancer. So terribly sad. She was such a beautiful and talented woman. I still sing some of her songs when I am going about my day. She was more incredible than she was given credit for. I never could understand why she didn't gain the popularity that others with less talent did. :(
