How in the world are the Eagles #3?

I live in Pennsylvania and their fans, in general, are TERRIBLE.

You'd be surprised (maybe not, actually), at how cynical and negative they are about the team that they're supposedly a fan of.

It's like they're so used to not winning that they just resort to hating on their own team so that there's no way they can be disappointed when they keep losing.

Anyone who's ever been to a game at Arrowhead knows that KC being last is laughable. Their fanbase may not be as large, but they are very passionate.

The last time the Cowboys played in KC (2013), it got so loud on a Dal 4th down that the press box glass cracked. When I heard about it after the game, I knew exactly when it happened, as I even covered my ears. It was intense.

1. Surprised to see the Dolphins that high. Maybe that late season push bumped the ranking?
2. Chiefs at 32 doesn't sound right.

I went to watch the Cowboys play in KC the time before that. It was Miles Austin's coming out party. There were actually more Cowboy fans there than Chiefs fans. We took over the stadium. The Chiefs even called a timeout because the Cowboy fans were screaming "defense" so loudly.

They are a great fanbase when they are winning. Otherwise.....

I was at that game too, and was surrounded by Chiefs fans. Apparently I was in the wrong section!

LOL. That sums it up in a nut shell. Can't wait for them to get all over Wentz. He thinks he's the 2nd coming for the Egals and their fans. He'll get chewed up and spit out just like all those other QB's that pathetic team had.

Arrowhead is not that loud in my experience...including that 2013 game. That game was far quieter than the one in 98. They've always been an overrated fan base. The team struggles some, and those stands are pretty bare. They are drunks that can yell, that's it. Not the brightest people either.

Yeah, I think this is a numbers list. What team has the most fans, as opposed to the "best" fans.

Arrowhead holds the record for loudest stadium (in decibels). Their fans are legit. Bills at 16 is too low, as well. Those fans endure some nasty climate and are notorious for having crazy tailgates and being rabid for them team.

Raiders at 20?

Edit -- we're still the best :p

You're saying the Chiefs deserve to be ranked 32nd?

I do not agree with this list ........ Cowboys fans turn on their team at the first sign of trouble ......... every week I see people taking about how the game is over in the first quarter.

I can't say I even take this with a grain of salt. The first two posts in this thread say it all IMO. Philly Fans suck and the Cheifs, they have had some of the greatest fans in the game for as long as I can remember.

I'm starting my weekend now. Clearly, everybody is already mailing it in.......

Haha, yeah, just visit the in game chat room here. A three and out the games over and everyone should be fired

We must use the term "Best Fans" very loosely....If the Eagles are to be at #3. maybe "Involved Fan Base" might be a better use of words.

From the article:

To come up with the rankings, Lewis used three key criteria: Fan equity, social media equity and road equity. In a nutshell, the Fan Equity criteria basically revolves around how much fans are willing to spend on their team and how much support they show with their wallet.

Social media equity is exactly what it sounds like and ranked fans by how many social media followers that each team has. The third criteria, road equity, is based on how much support each team gets on the road.

Just because the Eagles fans are cynical and negative does not make them less impactful.

They flood radio stations and social media, especially after losses.

All you have to do is listen to WIP after an Eagles loss, they are there and they are, well, "passionate" is a nice way to put it.

Have you ever met a Chiefs fan unless it was at a game?

Most big cities have entire bars that cater to specific team's fans. Cowboys, Steelers, Packers, etc. I have yet to see large groups of Chiefs fans.

Seems to me they are a very vocal and loyal base, but they don't really travel all that well nor do they have much of an imprint outside of the Midwest and probably only central Midwest.

Now 32nd might be harsh, you would think that would go to a team that rarely wins and rarely gets supported, like Jacksonville.

That's my point, Alex. This seems more like a numbers list than a "fanatic" list. I haven't seen a Chiefs bar, but I also haven't been to KC. Their fanbase is incredibly loyal and supportive from all that I've heard.

And they have the loudest stadium in the States.
