Hey y'all. Just wanted to let you guys know I am now writing for Fansided. This is my first article for them, and I figured, why not discuss this and get my view across. Hope you guys like it. As always. Criticism is encouraged.

Personally I'm exhausted from being Americas Team. I'm tired of having the bullseye on our back.

I really don't see any advantages from a fans perspective. I get to see all of the games televised locally. Our popularity has driven up ticket sales. Awesome if your a sponsor .

It's not the bragging rights that interest me. Not unless they start handing out Lombardi's and hanging banners for being #1 in Revenue who gives a crap except Jethro Jone$.

Even if the Cowboys had 1 single fan they would be America's team as they own the right to it.

I still do not get to this day why people argue over this or try and tell us that other teams are now America's Team. This isn't some award given out yearly. It also has nothing to do with the success or W-L record. None. At all. How with all the information out there do people still not know where this title derived from?

It doesn't matter if Dallas is 16-0 or 0-16. They will forever be America's Team, for what it's even worth today.

No, it's not the Patriots, Packers, Steelers, Broncos, etc. Just because they have had more recent success.

Dallas is far and away the most polarizing team in the NFL and one of the most polarizing in any sport in the world. Nothing to do with W-L. Which is kind of the point. We can be 4-12 like 2015 and still draw ratings. There is not one person that watches football that does not have an opinion on Dallas. No one is neutral.

Cowboys fans can puff up about their team's importance once they actually matter again in January.
