I mean, lying and leading people on are pretty similar. "Never lies" is a bit of a stretch, too, imo Bob. With all due respect, brother.

Rapaport is crapaport, without a doubt. I much prefer his network, tho, so there's that, I guess.

For me, all these insiders are scummy, save Glazer.

They are not looking like idiots to the average fan who honestly is not keeping up with the disparity in how cases are treated.

In fact, it would be a banner day for Goodell if he did suspend him.

It would signal, by all means necessary and leaving no stone unturned, the integrity of the NFL Shield is maintained.

As long as he is doing what the owners WANT him to do he stays. He does not take a crap without majority owner approval. So anyone blaming him for it is a moron. Look at the owners.
 
Right now the NFL is caught in its own trap. If they close down the investigation with no discipline everyone will either scream about how long it took to do nothing or that they are covering something up.

They are keeping it going hoping Zeke does something else stupid (like that mardi gras thing) so they can keep it going or actually suspend him.

This. Or something like it.
All evidence, interviews, interrogations, investigations, etc. were complete long ago. That no final ruling has been made suggests the league (Goodell) is looking for a way justify a suspension. Goodell put the league in a no win situation when he bungled the Ray Rice affair. He's between a rock and a hard place now and has to find a way to appear hard-line about domestic violence. He/they just haven't come up with a way to do & appear legit.

The Cowboys are such a unique asset in that there is no middle ground. The only people infuriated by seemingly unjust treatment is our own fans. Evidence or not the only people with a negative reaction to any discipline to 21 would be us, And regardless, every Sunday we will tune in. The league has got a free pass to do us in and all we keep doing is keep the brand strong via ratings, clicks etc. We are treated like a punchline, with everybody else laughing. It's grown extremely old. Especially these last few years.
