Biggest sports robberies of all-time

People blame the refs for every game loss. SInce the start of time.

I had no rooting interest in the game and this just wasn't on the level. Then a few years later the Tim Donaghy situation happened. Of course, Donaghy was found to have not fixed games, but has an astounding 80% win percentage on games he bet on by simply talking to refs before the game and gathering what players and teams they were going to give a hard time.

YR

Thierry Henry's hand creating a goal in World Cup playoff in Paris in 2009. Cost Ireland a place in the World Cup Finals.
Maradonna's hand of God goal against England in the 86 World Cup.

Yankees stealing Babe Ruth from the Red Sox (end of thread)......

Don't blame the Yankees- It was the Red Sox owner looking to sell to whoever came up with the most money. Why do you think the curse lasted so long?

South korea was our allie and not communist

which made it all the worse. I have never seen such a completely rigged fight in history = at least at the Olympic level. Ali/Liston 2 was clearly the worst in the pros.

But in the pros, a lot of them used to get into bed with the mob and throw fights.

But they were smart enough to not make it so blatant. Ali/Liston 2 was pretty bad. Supposedly the downed Liston was too groggy to get up but if you look at film of the fight he is using one glove to shield his eyes.

I would have to nominate the phantom pass interference call against in the end zone against the Miami Hurricanes allowing the Ohio State Buckeyes to win the BCS National Championship.

1. Roy Jones Jr. loses in the gold medal match in the Seoul Olympics, even though he pummeled the South Korean boxer. The South Korean only connected on a handful of punches the entire fight.

I can watch the fight back but not the decision....

1980 US Amateur's defeating Russia in the 1980 Olympics Men's Ice Hockey...

Also one of sports biggest upsets...

Recently.... Andre Ward lost to Kovalev... but still got decision.

ROBBED!

And I knew... Ward would win second fight. He survived first one and figured out how to beat him for second fight.
