The official police report doesn't even mention Zeke's name. I'm not saying he didn't do it, but the guy said he didn't know who did it, and has come out on Twitter saying they're cool.

The club will have a videotape if it occurred inside the club. That will tell the story.

It'd be nice to here from Zeke denying it though.

So how does a car accident and a text tarnish the NFL brand?.

The text was a response to a girl's text. He told her not to worry because he knew how to pass a drug test when it was time to take it. That's an admission of drug use in the league's eyes.

He might be in the program already. Remember, we don't hear anything until the 4th time they fail.

Prescott isn't ready to shoulder the offensive load yet. Not by a long shot. And McFadden is made of glass.

This is a run first, pass second team. It needed Demarco Murray, and now it needs Zeke Elliottt.
zeke is what makes that offense go

Straight up, you're reaching on some of these things. I agree Zeke needs to quit being a *******.

I think I'm going to wait on this one.

So much disinformation out right now and not enough official statements.

But I do want to point out...

9:40PM is not 'late night' for a bar. So I'm not exactly angry/disappointed that he was even "in that position".

Anyway, this could suck really bad and mean a monumental hurdle to overcome in an already difficult season. Or it could literally be nothing... like a few other times when players' 'involvement' in incidents means they were within the same building.

Yeah, I don't believe "most" online are jealous of Elliott.

They are fans of a team that apparently has a knucklehead for a starting TB.
I'm not asking you to believe most are jealous. I'm telling you what I think and you don't have to agree. Just like I think you're one of the jealous ones because there really is no need for name calling and you'll disagree but hey that's life. I think we can agree its nothing more to say here but I am glad you learned how to read with understanding instead of trying to be a gotcha poster which I'm sure you're better than that.

Allegedly, yes. They were just talking about it on The Fan.

Well, sadly, that type of stuff doesn't matter to the NFL.

The woman in Zeke's DV "case" was proven to be a money-grabber -- NFL still wants to suspend him.

So I'd bet the NFL will still pursue the altercation from last night, despite how the guy said there is no issue with Zeke.

Regardless though, Zeke needs to tone it down. A lot.

So a platter should be suspended for several incidents combined when they are all unrelated that do not deserve a suspension as a single entity.
Maybe the bouncer started the incident.

Walked into a marijuana shop........so is this legal, if you walked into that shop, would your employer suspend you (if you are not self-employed)

Texted a girlfriend that he would beat an upcoming drug test.......this means nothing, my friends and I joked all the time, when we had to take drug tests for employment, and none of us did or do drugs.

Domestic violence allegations in Ohio......no charges were made and case dropped.

Pulling a girl's shirt down at a Dallas parade......immature act, girl was ok with it, nothing is ever mentioned except on here.

Two car accidents.......and he should be suspended for this, and neither was his fault, and and was a passenger in one of them.

And now a bar fight the week of his meeting in New York with the league office.......can we at least wait until we have some details.

This could suddenly be a much longer suspension......sounds like you want him suspended so you can have something to go on about
You make good points that these "harmless" things happen here and there to a normal person, but as a profession athlete everything you do is under the microscope. If this latest accusation is correct, he's walking on thin ice already (according to NFL policy).
I hate to say it but some players just don't get it. It seems to me there is a trend (not only with the DC) but the entire NFL. Some players are just ignorant of their own (legal) limitations/obligations as an employee of the NFL and there are so many more areas of trouble just begging a young professional athlete to abide, than a normal person is exposed to. It's just the way some players react to stardom/$$ and very few find their way back to greatness. Dez has seemed to have gotten through it with a lot of dedicated resources around him. I hope some how this is all smoke.

Youre a better man then me lol. My post are based on IF its true. I cant defend this guy anymore if so. One false accusation, then alot of little BS then this. The pattern had been there but I hoped hed quit pushing it. Again, hoping this ISNT true.

I sure hope he did not do this....

We might as well just get pass happy and spread em out.

Morris will have to carry the load along with McFadden

The bottom line (to me) is the NFL needs to quit punishing players (of every team) for incidents that aren't illegal, or don't result in an arrest.

They're so worried about the brand, but I can almost GUARANTEE if they did a poll, the fans don't care about these types of incidents. Domestic violence? Absolutely. That (and murder obviously) also probably the only thing sponsors dont want to be associated with as long as they're making money.

That's my take. Now chime in the usual posters that are so much smarter than everybody that will say I'm wrong.
