Sooo... to sum up what I've read so far is that a dude was harassing a girl and Zeke popped him.

Someone tweets a pic and then alleges Zeke told him to *** off.

Dez tweeted something lowbrow that MANY on here would approve of, but because it's Dez....

Back to Zeke, so if all he did was pop a guy for harassing a lady, then I'm for it.

I love the offseason.. Keeps it interesting around here.

The local writers on podcasts have been hinting that Zeke is basically a loose canon all year. It's almost like they're sitting on some good intel but either don't want to divulge or simply choose not to. I've been backing Zeke all offseason particularly as it relates to this DV investigation. But damn, this is not good at all.

This team has an uncanny ability to always go into the season handicapped one way or another.

Meanwhile, Mara's on Line 1 at NFL Headquarters.

Like Dak who got a DUI and was in a huge street brawl at Spring Break

Huge street brawl? He and four other guys got jumped by a group of like 20 guys guys in a parking lot and were beaten and had a gun pulled on them. The fight was over some words that were exchanged inside a concert where one of the thugs recognized Prescott and told him he didn't like him and wouldn't fight him but rather shoot him. Prescott was hit in the head with a liquor bottle.

Prescott was a real victim in that situation, not some guy running around punching people.

This kid has zero self awareness. He keeps placing himself into situations that lead to the league noticing him.

There's like 50 guys on this team that never ever had the NFL spotlight pulled to them in a negative way in any offseason they've been with the team. This kid has managed this trick twice now in one offseason.

Meh. He's a top 5 player in this league already. It won't be too bad. Leveon Bell got a slap on the wrist for multiple infarctions. Star players get treated differently folks.
Yea I can tell. Look what they did to Tom Brady.

Not sure using that situation is akin to some of the boneheaded decisions Elliott has made.
that is exactly why I brought it up........ stuff happens on the streets that can't be controlled (except for the DUI)

Dak and his boys were just trying to have a good time and got jumped .....now its a huge street brawl and guns are pulled.....sounds like Ray Lewis........ telling these guys to avoid trouble is nearly impossible..... there are a lot of thugs and gold diggers and general creeps out there..... at the beach, at the club, at fireworks, at concerts, at the pizza joint

Care to tell us any issues that have happened with Dak since entering the league? I'll wait here.

Or to sum it up from the NFL's perspective, your All Pro running back single handedly justified our year long investigation by physically assaulting someone last night.

But yeah, nothing to see here

It would not surprise me if local writers have more information regarding Zeke but can't or won't report it because because they are not properly sourced or is second hand information that they can't confirm.

So while they can't say anything about these stories, they believe them. So, even without realizing it sometimes, they may talk about how Zeke is some kind of ticking time bomb or something.

We joke about it and all, but you know the rest of the division is just loving how this offseason has turned into a mess of distraction.

Yup. Unless you think that Mara can remotely control these guys' actions, he is is just one of many reaping the benefits of Jerry's zoo and its inhabitants' consistently stupid behavior. For every solid citizen like Witten, or Lee or Romo there are three morons. Every year.

I think it's pretty interesting Zeke's own dad has concerns over his son's maturity and ability to handle fame, but some posters are quick to dismiss any notion there's a pattern of bad behavior/decision making.

The leagues past goof ups with handing down punishment and the fact he is a Dallas Cowboy is going to earn him a suspension that he doesn't deserve.

I think the earliest we see Zeke is week 3.

It will do a lot for how Dak is viewed if he can get it done without Zeke.
If he actually hit someone he deserves some sort of suspension, period. Dak will be just fine without Zeke. Obviously the offense won't be quite as effective but the o line and receivers are still top notch. Plenty of teams win games with much less.

IMOF, it will do more for how Garrett is viewed without Zeke.
