Cooper Rush thread **merged**

Remember, this is the same staff that would have started Moore over Dak last year had Moore not break his leg. SMH.

Anyone have Tonya Harding's phone number?
:);-);-);-)
Yes good point!
So they may keep Moore over Rush!
Rush is clearly better so now we wait
and see.

Most likely, Rush will get waived, then re-signed to the practice squad.

Every team has a Cooper Rush that the fans are slobbering over. Teams aren't going to sign a young QB to their 53 and waste a spot on them.

But we'll see.

He won't make it to the practice squad. Rookie QBs don't usually play this well. And no every team does not have a Cooper Rush.

I say start Cooper in the last preseason game and just see. He has shown enough at this point. what more do you want him to do. 148.8 tonight 2TD's with the win. I understand sometimes you can get fooled at what your eyes are seeing. So, put him in there with the 1's. It's not like we don't know what we have in Kellen.

Disclaimer: that's if there are even any 1's left in the last game.

From what I am hearing, Moore is the guaranteed back-up......no matter how the QB's play out. It is asinine to just hand him the job. Does Kellen not have to win his job? Is there some kind of nepotism or blackmail going on??

If we lose Rush because of that sorry excuse of a QB, the decision maker/s need to get canned, excluding Jerry or Stephen of course :banghead:

There is no reason to even keep Moore around, PERIOD!

He seems like a keeper. He doesn't have much arm talent but he's poised and will find the open man and let his receiver make a play. I think he's worth keeping. I'd dump Kellen Moore.

rush looked good again. I wish that the coaching staff would put him in against teams second teams players to see how he would look instead of a bunch of undrafted players like he has been playing against in his first three games.

Prescott says hello.

Prescott was elevated due to injury. He may not have gotten a chance if Moore stayed healthy. He was our #3 during training camp, so i suppose I overlooked that.

I believe the jets, 49ers, and broncos would pick up rush if he were to be released. the browns might. I bet the cardinals would too.

He would've eventually. Moore would've sucked and after about 6-7 losses they would've had no choice but to play a different QB. I would hope that mentality has now changed with the discovery of Dak and now Rush. Rush just seems to fit our Offensive scheme perfectly. They should know better than any of us and I don't think my eyes are lying. Both of the Colts backups were better than Moore. The coaching staff can't be that clueless....

That has been the prevailing thought on the subject but I say it starts to change this week. What is the point of camp and preseason games if you keep a guy who is horrible over a guy who is balling out? Moore's hold on the backup job begins to slip this week. Just watch. By cutdown day, they will get it right.

The exact same thing was said about Darius Jackson. And Matt Moore. No freaking way Rush makes it thru 31 other teams
