Rush now has 4 TD's in 3 games, plus 2 other scoring drives that ended in FG's. The moment we waive him, he's gone forever.
And before somebody says "Well that was against 2nd stringers and scrubs!" who exactly was Kellen Moore playing against out there these last 3 games?
This coaching staff should realize after last year that sometimes going with the unknown is the best answer.
This isn't even debatable. Cooper Rush should be the #2 on the depth chart by Monday. What else is there to talk about?
He won't be released but I'm afraid they may try to sneak him onto the PS.....he has earned the right to be the #2 IMO.
There better be sheep and goats in those pictures. Anything less is not enough to keep Moore. If Moore didn't have Linehans naked pictures this wouldn't even be a discussion
When I read the title, I thought this was another Cooper Rush thread.
We say this every year about a no-name QB on the roster. Romo is the only one we were ever right about.
Does she know how to contact Jared Smith?Remember, this is the same staff that would have started Moore over Dak last year had Moore not break his leg. SMH.
Anyone have Tonya Harding's phone number?
This is exactly what the Cowboys should be thinking. I don't care how much of an asset Moore is in the film room, we better not pick him over Rush.QBs are currency in he NFL.
Theoretically, if we keep Rush, and he shows any skills, we'd be able to flip him for a pick, which, regardless of round, would be great a great return for an UDFA.
Pie in the sky, if we kept him over Moore and he ended up playing for a bit and won, we could get a nice return for him.
IMO, he's already better than Moore, so I say it's a win win to keep him.
