Add to it OBJ might be limited. I don't think the Giants are going to be able to run or keep us honest with the run.

they will. They did it last year week 1. They ran the ball down our defense throats in the second half and was a major part of why they won.

The second time we played them our defense played excellent and seemingly was on the other side of the line of scrimmage all night but lost.

I can't wait for the game its going to be great. i think its the best rivalry in the league and this years games should be as good as ever.

Im always concerned. the giants have beat Dallas 3 straight times. Mcadoo is a mike mcarthy imposter and runs them like the packers are run. Garrett and this staff struggle mightily with the mcarthy and the packers. So yes I am concerned.

I think the giants offense is going to be excellent but I think Dallas offense will make a lot of plays on this giants defense this time. I can only imagine how motivated they are, when jenkins says dez only runs 3 routes and is easy to defend in the offseason you know dez hears that.

Last night the giants got dinged a little. Eli Apple injured his ankle for the second time this season and jay bromley sprained his ankle.

how badly though, seem they always luck out with injuries, and are not season ending. We on the other hand suffer a few key players, or key depth injuries for either the season, or when we play them.

I don't know, maybe the team whose qb went 7-14 with a pick against the Jets in preseason should be more worried??

those numbers dont mean much. I just watched the game. He had a touchdown dropped by lewis also.

They have a young wr named rudolph who made a bunch of plays.

Sitting on the sideline was Beckham, Marshall and Harris. Engram looks great and so does perkins to me. This is going to be a good offense even with their struggles in running the ball consistently.

Their defense had a safety and two pick sixes last night.

Week 1 is going to be fun.

Of course we should be a bit worried.

This defense just isn't very deep, and with injuries to Hitchens and suspensions to arguably our two best pass rushers (Irving/Moore) we're just not in good shape defensively.

And unfortunately, any new wrinkles we would've had on offense (Switzer/Rico) will not be ready for week 1.

Oh and not to mention, no Zeke.

The Giants are a good team and, more importantly, a matchup problem.

The DL is deep and that is without Irving and Moore. 90, 93, 98, 97, and 66 can hold down the fort at DE while 95 and 58 serve their suspensions. When they come back it's overflowing. 96, 55, and 92 can handle DT along with 66 and another young guy like the current 74, 76 or 69.

MIKE is an issue but 54 and 52 look to be getting first shot. It's not like the cupboard is bare. 51 and 57 are okay at SAM. The issue is 53 and his lack of development. I think everyone was expecting better out of him but we will see. We will bring someone new in I am sure.

CB will be fine once 33 comes back which is imminent. The return of 27 makes us deep. 32, 30, and 25 remain and round it out with 39 who is tackling better. We'll have to see about 26's knee injury.

S is fine with 31 and 38 starting. 35 is developing nicely and 25 has already started to bite and returned to practice.

The GIants are not a matchup problem particularly if OBJ is dinged up. Their OL stinks and they have no rushing attack. Our O against their D is strength on strength. Without Hankins, I like our chances to run against them. 3 fingers is not what he used to be.

Oh ok, the Jets are putrid on offense so there's that.

Harris and Marshall do not exactly terrify me.

The qb is still the wrong Manning.

Nope

The offense will be much better this time around than it was last year.

- Dak is better

- The "Giants Killer" Witten found the fountain of youth and looks 25 instead of 35

- Dez/Dak chemistry is a lot better. Dez only had two catches vs the Giants in 2 games last year. That will change

- No weak link Doug Turnstile Free out there for JPP to abuse

Pierre paul has looked as good as ever this camp. The giants strength on offense is Dallas weakness on defense, the passing game. The giants are like the packers and the running game is secondary to the passing game. This is how they are built and operate.

I am looking forward to a healthy lawrence in this game also I think Collins can cause problems. Dallas did a good job last year at ny on defense.

Its going to be a great game. The giants have banged up players like Dallas does so it will be fun to see who ends up playing.

I have a few points.

1. Not sure why people say the LG situation worries them. I get it most of you thought Green was really good and now we see he isn't them folks are having a hard time admitting they were wrong about Cooper. Cooper is the man for the LG spot, go watch the difference of how the line played with Cooper at LG.

2. Not sure why folks are complaining about our young corners.......Scandrick, Carroll and Brown are the starters. Sure we want the young corners to play (and they will) but they aren't the starters yet.

3. Not sure why people are scared of the Giants because of the game last night. Go watch a Giants preseason game, they are terrible. So if you think we are bad go watch them.

4. This is preseason, can't get too high but can't get too low either. Remember back in 2014 preseason our offense looked like garbage, we couldn't pass, couldn't throw, couldn't block.........but when the season started Romo had a MVP type year and Murray ran for 1800 plus yards. This defense will be much improved but you have refrain from jumping to conclusions too fast.

Why wouldn't I be concerned about week 1? It'll be natural child birth to get a win over the Giants. As it always is.

I think this team is headed for an 8-8ish season. Take a step back like they always do. It will really impress me if they put together anything like last year. If they do, it would truly be a new era of Cowboys football.

The giants passing game is terrible. They have scored 0 TDs. Its a myth that they have a great offense

okay. They played 3 series with beckham and marshall.

When they have all their guys on the field and gameplan they are going to throw the ball all over the place.

The lack of respect here for a division rival with as much if not more overall talent is odd to me.

The cure for a horrible offense is facing a defense with no pass rush and that can't cover WR's.
Or they will continue their garbage offense. They got 20 points and 10 points last season against our defense that is worst then our current defense. Giants will be lucky to get 13 points against us week 1

They didn't do it all last year or the playoff game. They haven't done it all preseason either but somehow that's all going to change in 2 weeks

They aren't close to the same talent as us stop it

Not sure what the playoff game has to do with it, they lost to the same team we did and they were on the road. They also dropped td passes early in the game and never recovered.

This obsession with preseason is misplaced. They have a ton of talent on offense. Do you realize how difficult matching up with Beckham, Marshall, shepherd and engram is going to be?
