Dak was incredible

Or Linehan started dumbing down the play calling for him..

Cardinals selling out the run, because they are threatened by Zeke so let's go playaction bootleg.

Of course he did. That checking at the line he's been doing is Romos offense, not his. That's not his game yet.

I am not going to lie, I expected to come into some nits and piks but WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS THREAD

This win was partly because the defense was playing so well and the Cardinals sucked offensively.

It was handcuffed by Dak's garbage pocket awareness. When you got 8 or 9 men in the box selling out run, you should be able to adjust at the line into a pass and take risks downfield.

Looks to me that he was very limited tonight to be able to audible out. That very well could be a Linehan command which handcuffed Dak. I do not know and you do not either yet.

Passer rating is the individual stat with the highest correlation to wins in the NFL.

Palmer 29 of 48 (60%) 325 yds (6.8 ypa) 2 td 0 int 94.5
Prescott 13 of 18 (72%) 183 yds (10.2 ypa) 2 td 0 int 141.7

Passer rating can be suspect at times.........I was mainly speaking on the 183 yards....doesn't look great.....compared to 325.....but it was a great game by Dak.

What makes an effective passer rating can be many things, among them Johnson being injured and Zeke being in the game with Dak getting higher yoa because of his low amount of passes and one deep pass off play action on a great call by Linehan.

Just stated that in the other thread. Once Marinelli made the adjustment it was over.

But it's ok to give Dak credit Khiladi. Romo isn't coming back my main man. Dak is who we have to roll with now. :)

He handcuffed him last year. He's successful this year when he's doing the things Linehan handcuffed him with last year.

Dak did what Romo had to do in this crappy offense. He pretty much said "F-it. This offense isn't working. I'm playing my game and win".

I dispute that.

Linehan dumbed down the offense for Dak.

The pass to Butler was a play action roll out on a first that sold the whole defense to bite.

The TD by Dez was all his legs after a crossing route after a few great runs by Zeke.

None of these passes were 'make plays on my feet street ball style'.

When your primarily running bootlegs that effectively means your only using half the field.

Dak is good with a limited field of vision. That's why he's slow to deliver in the pocket, because his decision making process is limited when the field is bigger.
