Dak was incredible

I have complete confidence in Dak to be a franchise QB. I have minimal confidence in Linehan letting that happen if that makes sense.

Linehan was the one that made that happen. His only deep play was a one on one ISO to butler on a roll out on first down built of a play action that had the whole Cardinals defense and their stacked box fooled. And that was more a great catch by Butler than anything else. He basically threw it up.

And the Dez TD was all him after some great runs by Zeke.

If anything it's Linehan that needs to 'dumb' down the game for him to what his limitations are, because he's clearly not making reads properly when the box is stacked and he's got to adjust from the pocket.

I think Wk 1 was an average game.

Week 2 was rough.

Week 3 was rough early, we saw him checking down to start. In the second half he opened up and that opened everything up....including the run. We have to be able to throw the ball down the field. I wish they were designed plays but both were basically scrambles. Dak made plays to win the game and that is all that we need.

Get him outside the pocket. Dak shines when's able to use his feet and make plays whether it's scrambling or throwing on the run.

I guess my sarcasm is not coming across tonight.

My point was that, yes, Palmer looks terrible with all the pressure we were putting on him. Most QBs do.

Its not you its probably me lol....i've seen a lot of things on this site.......its been mind boggling tonight lol.

Lets not get too crazy here. Dak looked bad for an entire half, and the entire game last week.

Something isn't right. I don't know if its mechanical breakdowns, too many checkdowns, what but this hasn't been the same Dak.

I agree, you are too crazy here.

Amazing what happens when he's not overthinking it like Romo. He went back to playing like last year and just playing.

Or Linehan started dumbing down the play calling for him..

Cardinals selling out the run, because they are threatened by Zeke so let's go playaction bootleg.

That is totally not what I meant

I am talking about the bizarre playcalling at times, stubbornness and mundane gameplans. If/when Linehan allows Dak to do what he does best, then I have complete confidence. That did happen later in the game tonight but the first half was a different story, the offense was handcuffed.

It was handcuffed by Dak's garbage pocket awareness. When you got 8 or 9 men in the box selling out run, you should be able to adjust at the line into a pass and take risks downfield.

Was nice to see him get outside of the pocket again. Dude does damage on the run.

I forgot to mention it wasn't even that great of a throw. The play call by Linehan was perfect on that first down and Butler went up and made a nice grab on one on one coverage..

I'm happy for Dak, and he is showing some progress, but he can't bank on pulling the fat out of the fire with scrambling long bombs every week.
