The Giants, Broncos and Cardinals all have a very good chance of finishing in the top 5 in total defense this season. No other team in the league has had such a brutal stretch of defenses to start the year. Getting out of this stretch 2-1 is an accomplishment.

The rest of the way we only play three more games against defenses anywhere near that talented: The Giants (again), the Seahawks and the Chiefs (now without Eric Berry). Moreover we play some decidedly BAD defenses going forward.

We went 13-3 last year because we faced a lot of average to bad defenses who couldn't get their offenses on the field. That's largely what we will see the rest of the way.

There's nothing "wrong" with our offense. Great defenses usually beat great offenses.

The last two games were 2 of the toughest places to play as well. Proud of our team tonight. Ugly start. Beautiful finish.

Did you watch the game and see how fast Eli was getting the ball out, there was a reason for it
I watched that 21 point blitz they put on the Eagles when Eli had all day to throw. Defend an eagles team not sacking an immobile Eli with that pathetic OL all you want

We play the Rams D next game, and they aren't slouches. And Wade knows our offense somewhat. This could be a tougher game than most think. Again it may depend on our D getting to Goff and stopping Gurley and the run.

They have a small, fast front seven. Great for stopping the Washingtons and Giants of the world, not so much us.

They've got a weak secondary as well.

That's not true at all. And they've shown for the last few years to be pretty decent at handling our run.

yeah very impressed, the O line couldnt open any holes, Dak couldnt stay in the pocket, yet we get 28 points against a good D in their stadium

How does Wade know the offense when this is the first time he faced the Cowboys since the firing?

To me he has to study jist like every other DC because he isnt familiar with the players on offense.
