There's a reason the offense is laughably simple.

They are still trying to protect Dak.

Why do you think Dak did so well last year? Great OL, great RB, simplified offense to protect him from his own shortcomings and it worked great.

This year, it's not working out so well.

They can often come out flat, or when they are firing, struggle to counter a good coaches adjustments. I hate how he's still learning on the fly. We wasted Romo while he waited, don't want to waste Dak too. We could still make playoffs, I just don't think Garret can beat three or four good coaches in a row.
