Wrong. You can only judge Dak with Romo's 1st 20 games.
Amen. Romo wasn't capable of playing for his first 3 yrs and more like his first 7 yrs. Give it a break. Romo never won a thing in 10 yrs as a so called starter. He is much better winning games as an analyst...hahaha..that should tell you something.

Second season

13-3

Wake me when Dak leads us to 13-3 this season

Hmm, I seem to remember Romo looking pretty pedestrian in that Giants loss to end the 2007 season.

By the way, I'm talking second season IN THE LEAGUE. Romo was riding the pine his second season.

Yes, he was fantastic as a 27-year-old fourth-year pro who had three years in the league to learn a playbook, build a rapport with teammates and study NFL defenses. Comparing that to a 24-year-old second-year pro is a bit disingenuous.

I thought we lost because of Switzer fumble, defense allowing 35, not being able to stop Gurley, Twill/Dez drops, poor LB play, Dak missing throws, etc.

I mean I guess it's cool to blame one guy like we did with Romo with most loses.

Dak might be the next RGIII the way he's playing.
When the Dak vs Romo debate was going last year, I kept bringing up RGIII and I still think it is the closest comparison.

Dak was put into a championship level team last year and looked good.. but should have been back riding the pine once Romo was ready and he sure as hell shouldn't be leading this team this season.

He is a bus driver, Alex Smith, type QB. Get it in your head, he will have a huge QB rating every game because he doesn't take risks and he gets a lot of easy completions on the back of the all out run defences he faces. The moment they stop our running game.. then we see the real Dak.. can't hit a target.. can't maintain drives.. can't hit the big plays and ffs doesn't understand that on a 4th down you can't pass it short of the sticks.. I'd rather a jump ball than watch us fall 1 yard short!

We will not win a SB with Dak behind Centre.. end of story.

Dak was under constant pressure.

He missed some passes but kept us competitive in spite of our terrible ol play, terrible wr play and godawful coaching

I get it the QB guides his team to 30 points but loses, and it's his fault.

It's partly his fault when he can't do a dang thing in the second half despite having the lead.

Again, one QB lead his team to a comeback. The other failed. Both in their second season. No excuses, Dak failed, Goff passed. 3-1 Rams, 2-2 Cowboys.

We still don't value the middle of the field on defense. Heath makes too many bad plays for a safety. Poor D-Law was doubled and tripled all game long and Goff had a lot of time to throw.

And once the Rams saw they could use Austin on some jet sweeps and change of direction plays, Marinelli had no answer for it. It's one of the things I fear about this team...particularly on defense....if things work well in the first half and the opponent adjusts after halftime, we aren't stopping anything because we cannot re-adjust.

We adjusted last week in the 3-2-6 and it worked. You're right about the middle. The LB's are pathetic and Safety play is awful. I hope Woods takes over for Heath soon. Taco shouldn't even be on the field yet as well.

"Poor pass protection" - the protection was good enough, stop pretending he had people in his face. We've been over this...

You are wanting the line, when they were sending heavy blitzes, to play at some unreal levels. Great QBs make great plays in these situations. No excuses. Stop.

They weren't sending heavy blitzes on every single down and they still weren't giving Dak time. Stop yourself because if you can watch this game and think the pass protection was even average you know nothing about football. You might as well take up watching tennis.

Seems like we are struggling to block this year, if not for a couple of heroic plays by Dak, probably would have been a blow out.

I love it. Ha. Good luck when we win 6 games.i dont get why you cant see it. This guy is not as great as you all make him out to be
If the Cowboys only win 6 games, like today we need to look at the defense. The offense scored 30 and the Cowboys still lost.
