No guaranteed money and he isn't playing very well. He can't block for ****.

I don't see a TE on the roster near as good as him. For sure don't want to use a top pick for a TE either when the defense needs a lot of help.

Well, as positive as I want to be, it's not working. We have big personell wholes and even bigger coaching deficiencies. 10 and 6 is optimistic and 8 and 8 is realistic. Anything less than that should call for a new staff.

complete secondary turnover, injuries, suspensions, first place schedule, counting on lots of rookies? that is NOT a recipe for a great year. But hey, there is till some that think were going to the show.

Romo the king of underachieving. My how narratives change
If anything, Romo has actually overachieved in his life, from UFA to starting QB of the Dallas Cowboys for ten years, to one of the top rated passers ever in football, to now doing well in the broadcast booth. Yeah, he never achieved playoff success and won a Super Bowl, but it's team game, and outside of possibly one team (built by Parcells), none of them were actually considered legitimate Super Bowl contenders. I guess Romo has to supersede poor organizational decisions (Jerry as GM) and coaching (Wade and Garrett) and deficiencies elsewhere on the team and carry all these on his back to a Super Bowl victory, to be appreciated by some.

Why would anybody think wittens done this year? He just signed a 4 year contract and is playing pretty good.

He's really not. His history buys him a lot of leeway though, so I hope he can get back to what he was last year at least. His blocking in particular has been very bad this year.

Blah blah blah. Bottom line is, I'm not accepting any Dak slander for Tony Romo. I had 10 years of Tony and saw enough. Not to mention he gets hurt if you breathe on him. Tired of talking about him

Your false interpretation of Tony Romo's narrative has nothing to do with Dak nor my response with respect to it.

If someone had told me that the giants would have the worse record in the NFL at this point, I would have slapped your mamma

 Jk. No mamma slapping here

Knee jerk fan. Let's talk again after 16 games.
Man.. all day, I've had nothing enjoyable to latch onto.
Just rehashed arguments and the same blinders by the same people.

No fun today...

I might retire early tonight. My awesome woman said, "It's Friday and it's October. Time for scary movies."

Anybody have any suggestions? We like the classics and the real garbage ones too.
No in-between for this household on the scares.

Just watch 'Old Yeller...' The ending is refreshing, after seeing one's heart torn out. Good stuff!!
