I'll take that bet...

Believe it or not...Yankees are deeper...and made for this playoff run.

I’m not a Stros fan — in fact, my team and they are rivals.

From the games I watched, the Stros look like a damned force, Floaty. With that said, the Yanks did beat a team that everyone had picked to represent the AL in the WS.

No bets, but it’ll be fun to watch :)

Houston teams have a history of choking in all sports with the exception of the '90's Rockets. I would definitely not bet against the Yankees.

I don't know who wins but it isn't so one-sided like many believe. Houston will have their hands full, NY just got a huge confidence boost.

Houston would have choked if Jordan didn’t take two years offf ;-) lol

Maybe but the Rockets matched up well with the JordanBulls. Maxwell knew how to guard Air and they never had an answer for the Dreamshake

Hypotheticals are fun and all but Houston could have still won those titles even if Jordan was playing. Not saying they would have but those two rings were well earned and I don't think any team would have knocked off Houston. Hakeem was a great player, top 5 of all time IMO.

But, continue on with that useless rhetoric

My fellow Yankee fans, you can thank me for the victory last night. In an effort to ensure a victory, I placed a bet on the Indians minus 1.5 runs. After the bet went through, I knew it was a given that our beloved Yankees would be on their way to Houston. Taking one for the team, I did. My gambling luck is beyond poor and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

And for the record, money has been put on the Astros in 5 games. Our team is on their way to the Series!!! :yourock:

I absolutely adore Girardi and how he apologized to his team after game two.

What a true manager. Type of manager a team loves playing for.

Girardi is a hell of a human being, and this is coming from a person who, generally, hates the MFY.

Especially when they take up half my stadium. Grrr :)
