Taking an OLB that's already had significant knee injuries in both knees and putting him in a 3 point stance against NFL LTs could turn out pretty badly.

Maybe he could play 4-3, probably. How long is he going to last? And is he going to be as effective as he was at OLB? No one can answer that question because no one's seen it. Every wow play from his tape was standing up.

I do wonder if this is mostly the cast of characters that called Lawrence a bust.

was another marginal pick by the cowboys they should stick to what the scouts want and then the coaches coach them up

I didnt expect much out of him because I didnt think he was a great prospect. But I can tell that I have NEVER seen a DE rookie look worse than Taco. The guy doesnt even sniff the QB, the runner, or the play. And he looks like he is just hanging out in there. No passion, emotion, nothing. Maybe he smokes dope with Gregory after practice and just hasnt gotten busted yet.
D Lawrence had 0 sacks his first season.

If he gets a sack will that mean he is suddenly a great player? Let's just pump the brakes and see where he is in a year or two.

He would do fine w his hand in the ground...those extra inches from his hand from his waist to to ground isn't gonna make a difference for this guy

Look at the first clip on this post...hand in ground...kicking buttocks

Not sure why this confuses folks. Obviously TJ would be a RDE in this scheme. He is about the same size as Dware and could easily gain 10, and there's been plenty of RDE that size that were great. You can either get to the QB or you can't. he can ,Taco can't.
Exactomundo brother. Look at his skill set, his size is more than sufficient. Good post

When he was sitting there in the draft and we were on the clock, I couldn't believe how lucky we were... I don't know who can watch him and Taco, and pick Taco with a straight face.

You would be suprised. Theres zoners that loved Darius Jackson, and now he doesn't even play football anymore, or the greatness of Devin Street, or how Bjones was and is a better safety than Landon Collins etc....

Very true. You'd think we were winning rings left and right with how they worship the FO. Last year saved their butts. Zeke was an easy pick at 4 and Dak was a gift from god at 135.
