Always been partial to the Cleveland Indians, myselfo_O

Yet, since the Diamondbacks with Curt Schilling and the " Big Unit" Randy Johnson dude won it ,,,( twelve bars in my hood,, at least ,,,have been bulldozed since) I've not watched a single baseball game since that serieso_O
Glad the Astros won!
ENJOY THIS VICTORY.

This club is going to be tough for several years. Long overdue
:flagwave:

That's the scary part for the rest of the teams in the AL...

Who knows about injuries and complacency when it comes to the Astro's 2018 season, but this team will not only still be loaded they'll improve at DH and in their relief corps. They still have a load of talent at the minor league level.

As good as the 2017 team was the 2018 team could be better.

What they need to do is get some of their young stars signed to long-term deals and Keuchel is a free agent after 2018 so that needs to be addressed.

Time to change that avatar again. :p
Haha nah. That's a punk move. As we all know sports is a ride or die thing. I've loved the Dodgers since I was a kid and was lucky enough to be there for Game 6. It hurts and I know at points we beat ourselves (I.E. Game 2 and 5), but in the end the Astros wanted it more. Well played fellas.

It was a little embarrassing that they couldn’t close out World Series with their “closer”.

It goes to show you there's more than one way to win a game.

Giles are very good for most of the season, but lost it during the playoffs. Hinch had to go to plan "B".

The Astros had an overabundance of decent starters so why not use them out of the bullpen?

Obviously between now and the start of the 2018 season Houston will have to sort out its bullpen woes... But there's time for that.

Dodgers had a terrific team.

Their starters just couldn't last long enough to avoid over using the bullpen... And some of their hitters became stone cold.
