Deion Sanders fires back at Tony Romo's comment about his tackling **merged**

This is Deion, fishing for relevance. Tony should laugh it off and ignore it. Deion will be exclusively doing Golden Coral voiceovers soon enough.
I think Romo will do exceptionally well after hearing Sanders comments given how well he has publicly not responded to the sometimes irrelevantly large amount of negative criticism over many years.

Deion's eyebrows look like they're making a run for his hairline.

I'm thinkin Botox.

Tony Romo's likeability is far above Deion's from my perspective.

Romo threw less INTs than Aikman.
Sad to see when a claimed cowboys fan can drop the wrong stats out there. Thanks for calling it out...he should have said most 4th QB comebacks from 08-15...or top ten highest rated QB of all time...anyway Deion should be banned for his childlike banter.

Well he’s already pimping botex for men. So there’s that.
And from the looks of him not just a spokesman but a user as well

This is payback for all the years Deon has tortured humans from the TV set

I took Romo's comment as lighthearted and jovial, something that's been said about Sanders by many including Deion himself. Deion's response was unnecessary and classless - speaks more about his character than any comment Romo could've made

Was going to note as others did, Deion took shots at Romo for years.
Deion admitted tackling was often a "business decision" for him and he has zero room to complain.

Romo >> Deion as a TV personality. Deion should shut up and take the L.

Romo is not qualified to poke fun at a champion and hall of famer. Especially since he was the interception man for many years. He is getting a little too cocky for a person who never accomplished anything

Whatever, Romo didnt tell any lies. Deion is full of crap. Romos accomplishments only went so far, but that doesnt mean hes wrong. Deion had his say about Romo, now Romo has his own platform. Boohoo.

Romo's career was cut short. In my opinion his opportunity of reaching the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a player are very slim to absolute zero but maybe...

Maybe Romo's early success as a television broadcaster is genuine.

Maybe his career in front of the camera off-the-field is actually a stepping stone.

Maybe he will expand and combine his knowledge of the game with his good looks, charm and witty demeanor into newer ventures.

Maybe he will seek out entrepreneurial media possibilities with his old franchise or even the National Football League.

Maybe he will not become another Ed Sabol but perhaps evolve into someone who contributors significantly to the league.

Maybe he will enjoy a long healthy life.

Maybe Sanders will also enjoy a long healthy life.

Maybe Romo will get voted into the Hall as a contributor 20 or 30 years down the line.

And maybe the alphabetical seating will place Romo and Sanders in close proximity of each other for enshrinement ceremonies that would follow.

Yeah. That was a BIT of a stretch but the look on BOTH their faces would be absolutely priceless--as would the looks (and comments) of the former's most ardent critics.

Petty. Not a good look for such a great player in not just the history of football but in all sports. Someone states a factual comment about him that does not diminish his greatness one iota and this is how he responded? Sanders diminished himself with his very own words. Smh.
Very petty and very childish.
But in fairness, Romo shouldn't have mentioned Deion either.

There dislike for each other go back years. Remember comments from Romo a few years how he was anxious to get back on the field a quite his critics and he singled out Deion. It's no secrets Deion was probably his hardest critic in the industry. Let's be honest, generally speaking, Super Bowl winners, especially ones with GOLD Jackets off limits. At least I can't recall ever hearing an analyst take a shot at one. Funny thing is, Romo said within a natural flow of game analyst and easy to see there was no malicious intent. But there are a selected few personalities ( Stephen Smith and Trump ) out there who better believe if you attack, they're going to attack back HARDER.
Hopefully, he's learned, HOFers are off limits ..........least what I thought.
