No, no. This isn't just 'he's not Lee', Hitchens is not Lee. Jaylon has been a negative on any play he's not blitzing the qb. He hurts the team with the way he's playing currently. I hope he turns it around, but I also don't want to be stomped by the Eagles while he 'learns on the fly'
That's untrue. He hasn't been a negative on any play he isn't blitzing. Perhaps you should watch the games or maybe you just don't watch Jaylon

No, it basically means he rushed once and got a sack. It like saying a backup ballball player that hit a home run in his 1 at bat has a 1000 batting average.
That isn't even close. He hasn't rushed only once but nice try

I honestly don't believe he has blitzed 15 times. If he has, it might be 15 on the dot. Small sample size of course.

However, the only time he has had any success whatsoever is definitely rushing the passer. That should be his only limited role for the rest of 2017 until he's hopefully more healthy next year.
He actually has been in harassing the QB often went sent. It's just people dislike Jaylon and only bash him for the negatives and no positives

That is certainly the strongest part of his game so far, no question. It should really be the only time he gets snaps at this point.

Apparently it is what he does best at this point in young career....

But...does it fit in Dallas scheme....
It does not. On a side note zach brown is pretty good and he's leading the Commanders in tackles. Good run support and was dirt cheap in free agency

He has no problem going full speed ahead and on blitzing situations he needs to be in the game, his problem is his lateral movements since he's still recovering. Next year will be the real breakout year for him but he needs the game experience now.

While I can understand your thought process I can agree to a point. To get better at what he is struggling at he needs reps. Maybe a few times a game in run support and coverage. Most of his snaps just be rushing the passer do I agree with that

... Have you not seen any gifs from the last game? He's constantly running out of his assignments leaving huge holes for the rbs to attack
Have you not seen him make plays in the back field. Again I don't care cause people only show the negatives when he has made some positive plays.

I said this when we drafted him, but I wish we played him more like how John Fox used a young Von Miller as a 4-3 dog SAM on the edge. I don't know if Marinelli would be willing to do that.

If it makes any sense, then it is doubtful Marinelli will do it.

would be kind of a dead give away to the offense that when Jaylon comes in the blitz is on

but, it's hard to produce worse results than when he's in the game and trying to actually play LB

Probably on 3rd and long. we use a 3 man rush and have Smith come in behind the DL? There ways Rod can sprinkle this guy in.

So many Cowboy fans will be feasting on crow at the end of the 2018 season. The reality is that his injury and subsequent delay to his NFL transition means that it wilp take a full season after tje injury to get on track.

It's not like we take joy in him struggling. We want him to be the beast we were told he could be. But he's in such an important spot, when he's struggling, the entire defence struggles. Taco can spin himself unconscious at the LDE spot, but it won't really hurt the team beyond the QB not getting pressure on his blindside. Jaylon is completely out of position most of the time, and when he is in position, he's whiffed on tackles or let passes get to players he's trailing far behind.

No one I don't think is saying he'll never become what he had the potential to become, but right now, Jaylon hurts this team. And when you have super bowl aspirations, people don't have the patience for it
