*** The Dak Prescott Thread **merged**

A lot of my anti-Cowboys friends / co-workers have been arguing with me the past 2 years that Dak is something of a product of having the best OL and RB in the NFL. I strongly disagreed.

Over the past 2 games Dak has 0 TDs and 3 INTs and while I still don't buy their line of argument, I am pretty disappointed.

I <did> think Dak was the kind of QB who could put an offense on his back. I'm not so sure any more...

I can’t believe the amount of scrutiny a second year QB gets around here.

I believe in Dak. But to think he isn’t going to have growing pains in crazy.

That being said. Dak’s footwork has been sloppy these past couple of games. That was his biggest flaw coming out of college. Sloppy footwork.

His footwork was solid last year and it HAS improved since college. But he still needs to get better in that area. And more consistent.

The problem isn’t his “arm talent” it’s his footwork. When it’s on point, he is very accurate. When it isn’t good his accuracy suffers.
When he sails 3rd and 2 passes over people's heads that's more than footwork.

Dak’s worst game ever. Not worried about him though as we have about 99 other problems right now.

Dak might not be as good as we thought..
But it's still early for him to get better. I' not giving up on a second year qb after today. Hell I made it through Romo collapses...this is nothing.

Wentz was 14/27 for 168 yards and 2 TDs, One pass that should have been picked but wasn't.

6.22 YPA is not great. He made a few plays down the stretch but a good QB performance wins this game.

What I see are a bunch of crybabies overreacting to a bad loss. In other words, business as usual.
That would be back to back bad losses and a 7 yr long trend...but you pretend it is one bad game.
