For a guy that used to make acrobatic catch after catch even in practice he now has stone hands. I will give you that Romo threw the deep ball better but hes not even open in single coverage. He looks as fast as he ever did he just doesnt take the short route up the field like he used to.

I think it's a combo of a few things.

One, Dak struggles to get him the ball at times and other times doesn't deliver a catchable ball.

Two, I don't think Dez has been the same since the leg injuries.

Three, the coaching staff does him no favors.

Four, I think Romo covered up for a lot of the coaching staff shortcomings.

Five, I do think Bryant has been lazy at times. That alligator arm tonight on that one throw was unacceptable.

Sure looks like he doesn’t concentrate Bonn the ball as it hits him in the hands and normally the wr makes the catch. To me he is pushing too hard for the big play RAC

It's expected that he's lost a bunch of his athleticism following the injuries of the past few years. I do not ever recall seeing someone lose great hands though whether due to age or injury.

He now has frying pans for hands. Anyone else ever recall seeing a player go from great hands to poor over the course of their career?

Dak and Dez simply don't have chemistry and I don't think they will develop it. Honestly, we might have to part ways with Dez. Dak's throwing percentage to other WRs is significantly higher. Dez might do much better elsewhere and we might be able to draft a young guy that will develop chemistry with Dak.

Dak can’t place the ball where he likes it. He also doesn’t take chances that allow Dez to improvise like Romo did and those big plays that came off scramble drills.

With Rodgers Dez would like 100% better

Rodgers can make even scrubs look great. He is the greatest quarterback of all time.

Not really sure that's a relevant hypothetical scenario.

I was going more off of Rodgers style to make things happen besides normal play design. Like Romo did. That was Dez’s speciality is the plays on the scramble drill.

Dak seems like he should have that talent. Don’t know why he doesn’t use it.

One of the passes Dak threw to the sideline old Dez would have snatched out of the air and come down in bounds.

Leg injuries have taken a toll on him but he still is/can be a effective receiver. The problem is, our coaching staff still plays him like pre-injury Dez. He no longer is a dominant vertical sideline receiver.

Dez looks disinterested right now. I don't see the fire and passion like years past. It is a combination of things though but his head appears to not be on the field.

Where exactly does he like it?
