Yeah, the Bride is making the soup...l have some gin in reserve. I am thinking about drinking 4 or 5 bottles of Nyquil!!
I've never known anyone that drinks gin as much as you do, Boxer. The julep tends to be a bit much for me (and others) after a bottle or so. Are you mixing it with something, Jack?

I've never had a gin and tonic in my life, does the tonic water cut that sweet tang a little?

Well, gin is a marine drink...that's how l got started. Worked out of the UK for yrs and its a limey drink. Just tonic water, squeeze of lemon and down it goes. I drink it basically because l don't like coke and orange juice in booze. Too sweet. Vodka is great too. Rum is my favourite but that darn coke.

So you always mix, Haley??!

I never mix my drinks. OJ and Coke are way too sweet, completely agree, brother... so are most other additives in the typical mix drink. A bourbon or whiskey straight is sweet enough for me, personally. Even gin. Not with someone like you, but to a lesser drinker, I think they (OJ, Coke, Bailey's etc) serve more to cut it than to make it more accessible, unless you're in a high end bar/great bartender and they're doing crazy drinks that require genuine skill.

Lemon with gin, ey? Does that cut some of that twangy sweet? I'm sure you completely acclimated to gin while out in the sea over the years, Boxer. Probably drank it neat more than mixed?

I always drink Whiskey straight. Rum needs to be high quality but prefer it straight with ice. Gin is great with tonic water, lemon and ice. All Vodkas and Gins taste the same to me. Vodka and ice is OK too.

Real Estate? You working for yourself or a company?? You did that before right??
I've invested in real estate for over twenty years, I still do a bit. I got my sales agent license and signed on with Coldwell banker last week.
