He's currently PFF's 26th ranked interior lineman with an above average 83.1 grade. Any of you All-22ers agree or disagree with that ranking and/or grading?

I can't even remember the terms of his contract, so don't know if his play this year is starting to justify it or not.

Don't have All-22 but he has been healthy this year.
Some plays he does the small things right which sets up other guys.

Is he worth the contract? No, but he hasn't been a hindrance to the defense.
4 sacks while D-Law and Irving have been going off isn't bad at all.
Solid run defender at RDE

He's had a solid year. Ups and downs, usually depending on the quality of opposition. He can take advantage of lesser tackles, but when he faces a better one, he's a non-factor for the game.

In his defense, he's once again been tasked with playing out of position because the team needed him somewhere else.

While he'll never be worth the contract he's been given, he's the ultimate team player and a great teammate. I would think that the team would like to keep him around, but things have to change regarding that contract.

Out of any of the players the team could talk to about lowering their contract, I would think that Crawford would probably be most amenable to it.

I disagree Crawford is the kind of player you get with his contract. He did not break the bank, his chronic injury was the fly in the ointment otherwise the cowboys would of had another bargain similar to the first Jay Ratliff contract. At the time of the signing he was ascending in the eyes of coaches/

And the coaches were wrong. Crawford has never become the player they thought he would be. And has never lived up to the contract.

You can talk up all of his great qualities, but none of it will ever change the fact that he's has never played up to the level of what he's being paid.

It is, was, and always will be a bad contract. And that will be proven when the Cowboys make moves to change that or get out of it completely as soon as they're financially able to.

Crawford has been a bust of a signing. He has some good games here and there in between the injuries. This year he has played as well as I can remember. One good year in an otherwise over paid and injury riddled career is not good. He is also now on the downside of his career. Time to replace him.

Crawford has played minimal interior though...so are they taking his pressure #’s from a DE and comparing them to DT’s having to fight in the middle of the line? I’d like to see where he ranks among 4-3 strong side DE’s...not that PFF means anything.

But either way his contract was a mistake that we can’t take back now. He’s an average starter and a good backup with some position flex. Not worth the $, but at the same time you have to evaluate what we actually save cap wise and what it costs to replace him. I think we are stuck with that contract for 1 more year after this year

I still believe we overpaid to retain him based on the return we are getting.

He has been good this year. He's done a nice job rushing the passer and an very good- to excellent job against the run.
He isn't elite but he is a good player that can line up at 3T and both end positions and be productive. He's faced guys like Joe Staley, Trent Williams, Eric fisher, ect., and had productive games. He pressured Cousins a few times lining up against Williams, had a nice run stop and was key on the play that David Irving knocked the heck out of Cousins.
