im on the grog train but theres times where you got to admit we might be asking for the wrong guy to get kicked to the curb. this team seems to not give up on garrett whatsoever. we may not like the guy but i dont think hes our biggest issue.

i totally agree with your opinion on the defense. we must draft defense atleast with our first 2-3 picks. (LB, S, DL) people want a young stud WR but i think we can find a good route runner in free agency or late in draft. we got the runner who sets everything up.

We are slated for 10 draft picks this year. We need frontline LB, DT, and S on defense. We need depth at DE. We need frontline help at WR and TE and depth at OL. That is my opinion at least.

Bias BPA accordingly and just pick the best players from those positions is what I would do. If a Will Fuller or OBJ is there you pick him and don't look back.

Too many what ifs for me. I'll wait until the final week to see where we stand, assuming we beat the Seahawks.

The Packers may shut Rodgers down for the last 2 games as well. I read he was only 80% healed but played yesterday anyway.

No reason to run him back out there, now that they are eliminated from the playoffs.
Rodgers will want to play even if they're out of it. I betcha he has some incentive to reach.

that approach never fails. i mean we needed a CB and we took the BPA in zeke. you think if we take Ramsey last year, does that mean no chido? or lewis? . either way i like what we have done so far in the draft, maybe id draft watt over taco...but ill give taco more time and see what he develops into.

Or you could just blame the Cowboys for letting a no name edge rusher look like prime Charles Haley.

yea i could but I am beyond tired of the ignorance of blaming everything on one guy or two guys.

You sound like an idiot trying to contradict known facts. Understand this... we have no tiebreaker over the Lions. Our only hope is for them to lose a game to the Bengals of Packers.
We do have the tiebreaker over the Panthers who we were talking about... What's your point exactly? Though beyond that... this was originally about us not deserving to go to the playoffs because we lost big to the Falcons... then when I brought up other teams losing big to crappy teams you switched over to tiebreakers. Is your point just, "I hate the Cowboys, they suck, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs... REEEEEEEE!" because if so once again I must reiterate... go away.

5 of the Bucs 9 losses were by a combined 22 points (4.4/game) - and that includes a 6 point OT loss to the Packers. Count that one as a tie, and 5 of their 9 losses were by 3.2 per regulation game. They've either won or had a chance to win 9 out of 13 games.

There isn't any reason in the world why they can't win 1 of these final 3 games, or at least come close. Here's to hoping!

Please assist: would a win by the Bucs tonight help two fold...

1) Gain a game on Atlanta with 2 to play
2) Erase Detroit's Tiebreaker?

We have to be tied with the Panthers to have a tiebreaker. They are two games ahead of us with two games remaining... so again their is no tiebreaker with the Panthers to be even considered right now.

I'm not joining your argument because it was never something I was interested in in the first place. We need Atlanta to lose two games. I hope they start fulfilling that need tonight against the Bucs.

As do I.

So this has nothing to do with how a team loses despite how you started this conversation. In that case is your point that a 10-6 team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs, because there are quite a few Super Bowl champions that would disagree with you? Or is your point simply that the best 12 teams deserve to get in, and if we happen to be one of them we deserve to get in?

We don't clinch a playoff spot but we do control our own destiny at that point. The Lions would only be able to get 9 wins so they would be below us assuming we win out. The Falcons would be at 9-6, the Panthers at 10-5. We would have the tiebreaker against the Panthers so if we both finish 10-6 we are ahead of them. Also if the Falcons finish 9-7 and we finish 10-6 we are obviously ahead of them. The Falcons and Panthers play each other week 17, so we would have to finish ahead of one of them... thus we control our own destiny at that point? Make sense or is that too false and stupid for you?

The Cowboys are only 8-6 right now. As such, they do not yet deserve to be in the playoffs. They have to win out and hope Atlanta loses 2 games or Lions lose 1 game. If any of those scenarios bear fruit, then and only then will the Cowboys "deserve" to be in the playoffs.

So yea it has absolutely nothing to do with how we lost to the Falcons... so you saying that was just dumb. Okay got it... I agree

Yeah it was stupid because the Bucs are not winning tonight or next week

That might be true, but that's not what you asked. You quite specifically called that scenario stupid and false info hinting that we wouldn't control our own destiny at that point...

Why are you so hung up on the idea that the Cowboys loss to Atlanta didn't matter? That game put us behind them in the playoff race.
